Thanks for the welcome, It's not so hard to find Ar15s here in Italy, but legislation is far more different that in the US.
To be as simple as possible I can tell you that there are some restrinctions regarding guns similar to the military ones (f.e. the number of that kind of weapons you can own). For now I own 2 Ar15 and another one is in the way. Our politicians are worse than your "liberals" trying every couple of years to restrict firearms possession, but we try to be stronger than them.
Thanks again for the welcome

Yes It is. You cannot order weapons parts directly in the US, so you must buy them through the importers. Result: you buy them but the price doubles.
But it doesn't matter us parts are the best so they are worth the expense.

I think that here in Europe we should be more grateful to the Country and the people that fight all over the world for our freedom. USMC are always at the frontline not only for the US but for all the free world too. I have been lucky coming to the United Stetes several times and I can say you're a great country.

You would be surprised about how many people here think the same. Fortunately the news are often wrong, you know few weeks ago news told us that your next president would have been Hillary Clinton, but they were wrong. It has been a good surprise for us in Europe too.

You can count on it. USA is the last bastion of freedom, and last election confirmed that.
Here you will have always good friends, except for that kind of "liberals" that you see on TV or you read on the papers.

Actually I just got the vortex a couple weeks ago and haven't been able to put a lot of rounds through it yet.  As I mentioned it's still a work in progress, will have a longer barrel on it eventually without the front sight post but I'll run it like that for now.  It's sighted in at 200 yards, plenty easy enough to get hits at that range with it.  It's my first 1-4x scope, and I'm liking it so far, its nice and clear.  I do love ACOGs, but never owned one myself.  I'm intrigued by the new AA battery ones.  Is yours battery or tritium powered?

I was in your same situation when I decided to buy an ACOG. At the beginning I wanted to buy the battery one then I thought "ACOGs were born with tritium because on the field is a big pro not having to change batteries" so I went with tritium. I'm very happy with that. After short time I had the chance to try the battery one too and I tell you that is awesome too. Little more weight because of the battery but you don't have any problem finding the right illumination (you know that with fiber optic dirctly under the sun reticle could become a little bit too bright). If you think to mount it on the trunk gun maybe could be better the battery one (using it the most outside) but I think it's an hard choice. Both are great optics and do their work perfectly. To take the best form them and from the reticle the best is zeroing it at 100 yd. As mentioned before now I would like to try a variable sight and I never had a chance to try Vortex but I read that are good optics and worth the money.

I'm surprised that someone on the other side of atlantic knows about our vote .
About the general mood you were asking me, I think that No it's gonna win. I don't know how our constitution amending was presented overseas, but it has multiple significance. We (conservative) will vote No above all to try giving a signal of discontinuity with the actual government. I tell you we are very tired of EU because we give every year billions of our taxes to be paid back with no help for the african invasion and with no consideration for the needs of italian families.
Do you know what Bruxelles said the day after Paris attacks? "We have to limit access to weapons for European citizens" when everybody knew that the Aks used in the attacks were from the black market of the balcans. Italexit is the way.

Gemtech SBC (on the suppressed setting always, because it drops in and it works for this dedicated suppressed gun)
BCM Gunfighter charging handle with a little RTV on it  (best CH for me)
WML on IWC mount  (light weight, but risky due to a chance of it spontaneously self destructing...may replace)
Aimpoint T1 on LT660  (the gold standard in RDS on the gold standard of mounts)
MBUS Pro BUIS (extra weight, should probably remove)
Griffin Armament Spartan 3 (freakin' awesome suppressor)

Lower:
Receiver (is a brand I now dislike but it's SBR'ed and it works, so...)
Larue MBT with heavy spring  (favorite trigger by far)
A5 buffer system (seems to lessen impact of variables on operation, so I like it)
BCM stock (lightweight stock used to get balance of the gun where I want it)
MIAD grip (using the big ass backstrap)

Mags:
Lancer L5AWM (I like my brass scratched up)
30rds of 62gr Fusion (good 'bang' for the buck in defensive ammo)

Blue Force Gear Vickers sling, not pictured.

I personally still love the MRP platform.. I was at SHOT Show the year they debut this and sent some pics to other fellow MRP enthusiasts.

Here's my duty rifle that rides with me every day at work. It's a Colt LE 6933 with Magpul SL handguard, grip and buttstock, AP T2 in a KDG Sidelok mount and a Streamlight RM2 in a Larue Lt752 mount. G3 PMAGS are loaded with 62 grain TAP barrier.

I also just bought a LMT Defender 2000 lower that I plan on turning into a MK18 Mod 0 or 1 if I ever get my fingerprint cards from the ATF that I sent for. They don't have to be from the ATF, do they? I would like to get the ball moving on the Unconstitutional SBR process. I am hoping Trump will change the NFA.

Just go to a local fingerprint/photo and passport ID shop.  Lots of places do this now.  This is what I did.  I have never sent for anything from the BATFE.
