I like the third one, though it's probably a pig. The heaviest one.

Which one shoots the most reliably and consistently/accurately? If a tie, then the lightest one.

Voted for bottom because A2 style sights and grip.
I'd prefer the handguard and stock from the top one put on the bottom one. |

Which one works all the time every time?
Just because it is made by X maker does not mean it is "best". Best would be that no matter what time of day you pick up the rifle you know it is going boom and where you aim at it is where it will poke holes. IMO some on here get hung up of X Y or Z brand instead of looking at is this rifle reliable, do it do everything I need it to do, and can I stake my life on it being ready when I need it. End of the day that is all that matters not who has a better rifle or who can pee further. |

Our opinions don't matter. If each is fully functional and meets the needs of the user, that's all that matters. This is like asking us if we like blondes, brunettes, red heads, tall, short, slim, curvy women best. Eye of the beholder.
But since you asked, I prefer petite, blue eyed blondes with slim build and big boobs. And I like DD (bra cup size, and rifles). I don't like the broomstick on the DD. I don't like anything made by Troy. |

I would go with the Daniel Defense. Why? It's the only one I would be reasonably assured of that it was assembled correctly and with components that were made to work with each other. Not saying anything wrong with the other 2 builds (my 2 favorite AR'S are my frankenbuilds) but your question has only one answer as far as I'm concerned.

Most definitely the Daniel Defense. I'd take the Troy sights off it though and run the LMT fixed sights on the 3rd rifle.
I would also remove the DD stock on the 2nd rifle and run the B5. Only one of my guns wears Tornado DD furniture. I just like better cheek welds and the B5s offer it. Where's the CH on the top rifle? |
|
[#20]
#2. The others are fine, but the only franken guns/ franken lower halves I trust are ones I build and verify. You would not believe how many people bork a lower build.

I don't drink any of the name brand koolaid. I like #3 because I like the sights (why have folding buis when you have no optic? Just one more thing to go wrong when you need it the most) I like the stock and grip also, same as I run on mine. The quad rail looks ready to mount my accessories.

Of the three you posted, all three have quality uppers, all three have quality lower parts.
But #1 doesn't have a charging handle, so that ones out. Also don't like the rail. #3 (OP's I am guessing), I don't like the rail. So I would take #2. |

Daniel Defense because I own one and a DDM4V11 Pro. I also own a customized Bushmaster ORC (my work horse) and a custom built premium AR-15 that cost me $1800 to build.

#2, DD. I have nothing against builds, I refuse to buy any off the shelf ARs anymore, would rather build everything myself, but given the options, I vote Daniel Defense

Going against the grain, I voted on number 1 purely based on aesthetics. It was real neck and neck with the factory DD gun. While DD makes a top shelf product, number 1 is more my style. Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I just like the under dog..?

Thanks for all the replies. I figured most people would pick the DD for obvious reasons. The other two were builds (except for the uppers which came complete)... both owners found it very beneficial to understand exactly how an AR works by building it up. All weapons have had 0 reliability issues and are more accurate than the shooter. As for the other comments/questions... The top one doesn't have a charging handle because Cheaper Than Dirt sent a stripped CH instead of the one that was ordered. It has one now though. The bottom one used to have a 1-4x Leupold scope on it, but was taken off and sold. Both the bottom one and the middle one will have Aimpoint PROs on them by the end of summer. The top will have a Vortex 1-4x on it soon enough as well.
This was purely for amusement and bragging rights. Thanks for those who commented. And to the person who guessed that #3 was mine... you were correct, and I have no idea how you figured that out. I wanted a simple, no frills, AR and I am super happy with how it turned out. Wouldn't change a thing on it. |

DD all day. And what's with the hate on the DD furniture? It seems pretty universal--not just on this board

The LMT BUIS has the A2 style adjustments, so the best choice of the 3 for it. |

Pie.
Definitely not the first one. Without a CH it excludes itself from the equation. Otherwise they all look the same to me. But stickman knows a thing or 2. I'm in the camp of whichever one shoots the best and runs good. I would guess they all run good. Besides #1 of course. ETA: I just read that it has a CH now. That is good. |
