I've been planning an SBR build and it's going to be an 11.5 with a CMR..I had figured I was limited to the 9.5 CMR in order to have the Specwar K fully seat. But I'm not sure how far past the shoulder it will actually sit. Anybody know for sure on this? Any pics of an 11.5/CMR 11 setup would be awesome.

I have a 10" SLR (that actually measures an exact 10") on a 10.5" barrel. My specwar with muzzle brake has about 1mm of clearance.

To semi-quote another member here, 'it seems like every manufacturer uses a different ruler to measure the length of their rails...and they build their own rulers, too.'

Hope that helps.

Mine fits incredibly tight on my 10.5'' barrel with 10'' DD Lite II rail. If your handguard is exactly 10'' it will just clear.

Thanks for the replies, fellas. Apparently the exact measurement on the CMR 11 is 10.994". It seems like based on y'all's posts it ought to fit. I'd really like to think so. I dig the look of the can snugged right up to the handguard.

Man, great looking stick. Makes me even more antsy to get this thing put together.

Thanks again for the replies, y'all. Seems like it oughta work. It's a DD bbl, for the record.
