There won't be many lowers spikes said they won't sell them separately

What you see in my pics are on 2 stripped lowers. I think they won't be selling stripped lowers with the scripture on the side.

They sell the stripped lowers. They just don't have the bible verse on the magwell, but the cross is still there.

We have several incoming that will be here in a day or two, as well as the complete rifles. I'm going to pick up a lower for a future build, but I'm not sure what I'll use it for.

Is that a Spikes upper? If it is not, what upper is it?

I have two of the Crusader lowers on the way.

Spikes/Seekins Gen1 billet upper, Spikes barrel, and Spikes BAR rail. So yes, it's a Spikes upper.

Not a Christian and certainly not a fan of crusaders.

That being said I wouldn't mind having one of these. Love the selector markings. The only reason I don't have one is because I already have a pile of lowers. And more assembled guns than I really know what to do with.

And yet you opened this thread and posted in it bumping it to the top?

I like the crusaider, but I "might" buy on if they sell the one with the verse engraved in the mag well.

Not sure about a Bible verse, but the rest of the lower is roll marked.

From one of the videos that Spikes has made about the Crusader, they stated that only the complete rifle will have the verse. The upper also has the shield on it, where the spider is normally at.

Yeah, I want a stripped lower, but I'm going to wait for them to sell the one with the verse on the mag well (if ever).

Saw some at the gun show in San Antonio today for $110. They had different selector markings and no bible verse. I had to pass I really want it with the bible verse.

You can get them without the bible verse from Schuyler for $75 but you have to pay the transfer fee. It is my understanding that you cannot buy the stripped lower with the bible verse, only the shield and the special safety markings.

I am a Christian, and I am certainly a fan of Crusaders.

That being said, I don't have much interest in these. The selector markings and verse seem like they are playing to a very specific audience. I already have a pile of lowers, and have more assembled weapons than most would know what to do with.

Im not sure why the big deal about spikes not selling stripped lowers without the verse if its just a laser engraving. You can get that engraved at just about anywhere. Now if it was roll marked that would be a different story.

I don't think its a big deal other than it would add $30-$50 to the cost of the lower. I will most likely get it done because I have a friend that has a laser.

Yeah, because there's never been any Colt, DD, BCM, Noveske, etc. threads.

ETA: Yes, count me in with those who'd like a stripped lower with the bible verse. I'm not one who normally wears my faith on my sleeve, but the Oregon shooting has changed that for me. Non-believers please feel free to bash away.

I too am Christian and a fan of the Crusader! Great rifle with a great theme! Just so I don't offend anyone I love everyone like Jesus commanded. Christian, Jew and Muslim alike. Just don't try to take what doesn't belong to you!

Of all the things Christianity might choose from it's history to wave as a flag, the Crusades wouldn't have been my first choice.
I'll admit the imagery and media-ability is just as good now as it was a thousand years ago though. Pretty guns.
Just remember where you came from.

As a Christian? I know where I came from and what it means to be Christian. None the less, the Crusades were about taking back Jerusalem from an occupying force. The rifle is sweet and Spikes hit a home run with it! No more religion here from me.
