Is there a significant difference between a Chrome Silicon Spring Vs. Mil Spec Buffer Spring? I know the price difference is minimal just wonder if it changes the performance?
Thanks in advance!

Supposed to run quieter. Doesn't make the "sproing" sound that is typical of standard round piano spring wire. Also, it maintains the same tension through its range of compression. A standard spring will increase tension as it compresses. Finally, cs flatwire springs are meant to far outlast the cyclic lifespan of standard springs. I plan on trying one when my standard starts showing signs of fatigue.
