I'd go the NV route for sure if it were me. The RC2 looks the same as the RC, and is an improved design.

Then again, I have QD cups in my SOPMOD stocks, so what do I know?

So I got a FDE for $999.99, but its in GA not AL. Now I guess I just have to sit and wait for the F3 and then for the F4.

I found it by looking at dealers on Surefire's website and searched out to 200 miles from my location then I looked at every dealer they had listed till I found one.  That may be the best bet for finding one if any of you guys are looking for them now.

Smart purchase in my opinion. You can ask your dealer to file the Form 4 while the Form 3 is pending. I see conflicting dealers and thoughts on this method so it just comes down to your dealers decision on it.

That makes four FDE Socom RCs sold in the last week that I know of. They are moving pretty quick right now.

Also, I wish my newly finished 80% was approved as an SBR. I really want to use it on a CQBR. I also do kind of like how clean it is, without paint. It will get paint, just not until a couple of shots with a new upper and NT4.

So I got a SXS, and now need to figure out how to secure my CQBR while riding.  Any thoughts?

I've seen a couple SF cans painted that held up fine.....I was unaware the lock ring differed between the two (same nsn).  What exactly is different?

Still waiting on this one ECP???

New switch setup. I didn't know if the wire for the laser was the same on the inside after I cut open the surefire one. The DBALs switch was thinner, and the Surefire switch looked like it had some sort of braided shielding around the inner core, and I wasn't sure if that needed to be connected as well for the switch to still work. I don't imagine that it would, and if it did, a little solder should have done the trick. This was just easier.

Oh, and btw, I think Daniel Defense forgot about my rail screws. Either that, or whoever is delivering them is really taking their time. I think I got an email saying they sent them like 2 weeks ago.

Did DD (Caroline I'm guessing) just tell you that they sent the screws out? Or did you also get a tracking info email?

I always get a second email with tracking info.

Same here.  She sent me the tracking on December 4th and it arrived the 14th.  Once the package was created it may have been in the back of the shipping order and takes awhile to get through to be shipped.

My hardware kit Caroline sent me took a while to get to me. Prob 3 weeks or so.
P.S. she's pretty hot, so I give her the verdict of "not guilty"

Oh, go figure. I mention they forgot about me, and I check the tracking number and it says out for delivery today. They sent it on the 15th and it said 1-3 days. Is USPS just really cheap or something? Why does anyone still use that for shipping anymore?

I'm fairly sure they're lower 1/3. I know my standard issue mount is anyways

Wilcox is lower 1/3.

Negative.   QRP1 (12245) mount with spacer (12227) provides absolute co-witness.
