I know we've seen SF M600 Scout lights out there on Block II CQBRs, but I think I've only ever seen them on older configurations - with KAC NT4 suppressor and SU-231 or Elcan Specter DRs.
Any pics of M600 Scouts with the newer Block II setups using the Surefire SOCOM RC and/or SU-231A? Just curious. |

I find the glass to very clear and magnification is sufficient out to 300yds. As you can see by pics I reversed the mount to flip left for my opposite eye dominance. As to the wind age adjustment on a magnifier I have no idea how or why they are even there. As you may already know you will not be able to co-witness when using G33. Yes, I got a lower for the 416 build - a Colt lower. There was a guy offered me an original factory semi HK 416D lower, I was thinking to get it, but I decided to hold off, because I know if I did, then I have to spend other $30k on a RDIAS. |

It's also funny that DD is pushing whole rifles and completed uppers, Colt is doing kind of the opposite. If Colt had been offering their 2015 uppers a couple years ago when RIS IIs were easily available it would have been an easy combo.
Trying to track down a few more items to complete another CQBR upper. Looking for the dual switches but trying to avoid fleabay. |

BTW, yes, I'm going the DD full Mk18 upper route. Who has any lowdown on who stocks the most inventory/prices when the next batch comes out? |

I have a couple questions about the dual pressure switch. Ive never owned one. #1- will 1 switch still work by itself if you only had a light plugged in, while you were saving up for a PEQ 15? #2- is there any way to run a surefire weaponlight off it until I get my WMX, (or an adapter) or is it strictly proprietary to insight plugs? |

Ive never owned one. #1- will 1 switch still work by itself if you only had a light plugged in, while you were saving up for a PEQ 15? #2- is there any way to run a surefire weaponlight off it until I get my WMX, (or an adapter) or is it strictly proprietary to insight plugs? Yes, the one switch will work by itself, without having the other cord plugged into anything. No, AFAIK, there are no adapters available. Without an adapter, they are completely different from the Surefire pressure pad plug. |

I'm considering CQBSS. How do you like it? Do you mind I ask why you are selling it? I really, really love this optic. Super clean glass, and at 1.1x it's illumination is daylight visible like a RDS, I think it's the holy grail of AR optics. I just got separated and may be selling the house(which needs a good amount of money put into it first) and then moving, blah, blah, So I need to liquidate. I will be buying one of these again when things settle back down in a few years. I'll probably be selling my Bk II inspired 13.7" Noveske Infidel upper as well. |

Trying to track down a few more items to complete another CQBR upper. Looking for the dual switches but trying to avoid fleabay. Why not?I got all 3 of mine from fleabay, $70-$80 each, like new. That's where I got mine as well - $70 "like new" condition. Never had any problems with it. Me as well. Got mine for $55 "Buy It Now". Got mine for $48 shipped! They're out there. Just keep an eye out. |

You arent the first brother. There's quite a few guys in the clone threads that run ching chong PEQ's. The paint on your flash hider looks badass. I know I'm not, but I still feel... Dirty... Haha. Oddly enough, the fake PEQ I used to have for my Block II was able to accommodate the real plug from my Insight dual pressure switch (the plug fit in the hole in the back) - looked the part from a distance. But I agree - it just feels wrong. The civilian legal PEQ from TNVC is really tempting though - I just wish I had more disposable income... |

I'm considering CQBSS. How do you like it? Do you mind I ask why you are selling it? Well, I'll share my thoughts on the CQBSS that I had for a while. I really liked it. Glass was phenomenal (as you would expect out of a piece of glass in this price range), adjustments were awesome (I really liked the pinch and turn turrets, clicks were very positive, no mushiness), I personally had the model with the TMR reticle so my illumination was not daytime bright, whereas the model with H27D reticle IS daytime bright. The cons, it weighed about as much as a brick. The eye relief is great on the scope, but for how I shoot AR's (NTCH), it had me pushing the scope rather far forward on the rifle which made it balance a little weird. It isn't a true 1x, it's 1.1x. Even though it didn't bother me much, it was still noticeable trying to use it at shorter ranges. It's also stupid expensive, although I don't think this will be a problem for you. In the end, I got rid of mine because the max range I have to shoot down here is about 450 yards. I just couldn't justify having $2,000+ dollars tied up into an 8x scope when I could easily shoot to 450 yards with a 4x ACOG. If I had a longer range to utilize down here, I would have went ahead with my original plan to build a .308 AR and put the CQBSS on that. Just my .02 cents, I've never owned the H27D model, but AFAIK, the only difference is obviously the reticle and the brighter illumination. Hope this helps a little bit. |
