If I build an AR with a pistol buffer tube, add a 12.5" barrel and OAL is over 26", it's technically not a pistol nor a rifle. Based on ATF ruling on the XO-26B, I could add a VFG. Also according to the ATF, the Sig arm brace is not a stock so I can add that too.

Has anyone done this before?
