Sounds about right, was from the USASOC Facebook page.

His pay schedule is in the 6 digit figure, I highly doubt that any fucks were given that day about the condition of his suit.  Good to see that he is learning about capabilities of equipment and personnel as the static display would suggest.

With that said, my PEQ-15 has no zeroing issues either on the rail.

How are slings mounted on the SOPMOD BlockII? I'm wanting to put a sling on mine correctly but don't know how and what parts would be correct.

This has been covered a ton. Beyond that, look closely at pics and you will have your answer.

A lot of different attachment mechanisms are used, but the two most common are:

1) CQD rail mount & CQD receiver end plate mount. These have a loop attached that you can use for an HK hook-type sling.
2) sling swivels using a push-button quick release that mount to rail adapters and/or receiver end plate or stocks

CQD ones were issued on Mk18 Mod0.

It seems to be personal preference really.

There's a reason this thread is 900+ pages. It's called efficiency, look it up.

The most basic setup is directly looped through the rear stock and a CQD front rail sling mount

The CQD rear sling plate is often issued and can be used with HK style hooks

Some users make paracord loops to use with Magpul slings or HK hooks

QD's have been seen as well. I believe these are all KAC rail QD mounts.

The most common sling is the Viking Tactics padded MK2, also seen is the Blue Force Gear padded VCAS sling and Viking MKI sling. Tons of different slings have been seen in the wild, I doubt there would be much consensus as to which is most correct.

Unfired Colt UR/Colt SOCOM profile 14.5" clone. Brand new legit clone parts. (DD FH only on to protect threads until final FH installed/timed.)

Got overseas orders and will likely be posting this upper **or** 16.1 clone upper on EE, unless you folks tell me there won't be any interest in them.

Trying to decide whether to keep 16.1 (first build ever) or this 14.5 (with my other CQBR upper that is never going anywhere.) This 14.5 upper is a clone snob's clone (caveat: its current FH).

Bank it in the safe and forget about it. When you get home it'll be like Christmas all over again

How many of you guys are still rocking the kac nt4 fh?  Let's see some pics. I just finished my build and went back and forth on which fh I was going to use between the surefire and kac and decided on kac because I think it just plain looks better. I'll try to post pics tonight when I get to a computer.

I do. I thought about the surefire when I was building it but a suppressor is long down the road so that didn't matter to me, and it might be a fraction of an inch but I wanted it as short as possible.

This is why I form 1'd my lowers.  I figured why pay adco $85 to space/pin/weld when I could just pay $200 for the stamp and keep my $100 FH if/when I decided to take it off.

Added on some new parts.

-M3x light
-Pri gas buster
-Kac ambi safety lever
-Kac qd sling swivel mount/bfg vcas sling
-Geissele ssa

Still need to pin/weld the Surefire fh.

Now can someone donate a peq box to me please?
