I like it. Matching paint is lame.

On a side note, would any of you happen to have the "river cross" photo with MBUS, at hand? I'd like to add it to my photo collection.

Oh well, I guess being lame isn't so bad. You can always swap parts around like I do.

I've seen a few TACP/JTAC photos.   I'm trying to find one that shows the use of the M4a1 risII; without the fsp, if that exists. Any good TACP/JTAC photos?

How about Geissele?

Or a Spikes SAR?

Or MI?

I just noticed that the bottom rifle is semi and has pictogram markings...

This is the accompanying blurb from Defense.gov...

An U.S. Special Forces Soldier, attached to Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Afghanistan, scans an open field for activity after receiving enemy fire during an operation in the Nejrab district, Kapisa province, Afghanistan, May 27, 2014. USSF assisted Afghan National Army special forces and commandos on an operation to disrupt insurgent freedom of maneuver in the area. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Connor Mendez/Released)

You buy new or used?  Bottom piece newer then the top?  The original lowers had holes all the way forward and there are pics of them bent under use with a bipod.

The "pinkish helicoil" is from the red loctite they use to keep the helicoil in place.

Has anyone sent their FSP to ADCO to be assembled? Looking for a total price on assembly and pinning.

I'm giving up on removing the FSP with my minimal tools and debating sending it in to get finished.

I believe mine was around 125-130 to get assembly + pin and weld.

Turn around was less than a week. It was insanely good service.

Took these out today. Really enjoying the B2 with the TA31. Think ill put a M600 on it and call it good. Had to put the gas buster on the SBR after looking over at my girlfriend shedding tears from the blowback lol.

I need to pick up an MK18 ris for the wanna be CQBR in the background, but man that mlok slim rail has really grown on me.

I grew up, and lived for 23 years in the Levittown/Langhorne/Southampton/Upper Makefield area. Sadly though, I don't really know of any good gunsmiths in the area. The place I used to go to was Classic Pistol, just off of Street Road, in NE Philly, but they were always packed, and the one guy didn't even know what a commercial buffer tube was, even when I presented him one, and even still after he whipped out some calipers to measure it, lol. So I can't really recommend them.

I was gonna recommend a guy in northern Maryland (just over the border from Gettysburg), if you lived around me, that chopped my barrel today. I walked in, he said come on back, and chopped it and threaded it for me right on the spot. Best experience I've ever had with a gunsmith. Usually you have to wait weeks.

Thank you for thinking of it though. I appreciate the desire to help. I'm fairly close to King Shooter Supply and I'm confident they could assemble the upper but I don't know if they do any pinning. Guess it would be a good idea to check haha.

Haha yeah I'm about ten minutes away

PM sent.
