Say what you want, but its manufactured by LMT, and simply rebranded by LCW.
If that doesn't meet your standards, then don't buy one.

Lauer simply buys forgings from LMT: these are not machined by them too.

For clarity, I'm not claiming they are LMT in any way shape or form, I just quoted the description on Midway because it was easy to miss where the confusion was introduced if you just clicked the product link provided earlier.

I'll add that I don't think LMT has their own standard mil spec lower receiver forgings. Some posts here from 2015 indicated that they are buying lower forging blanks and machining them. They do have their own lower and upper receiver forging dies, which are marked with L, for their custom production products like the MARS line. They do machine their forged lowers in house and it would sure make sense that LCW contracts LMT to take them from raw forgings to machined and anodized lowers with the LCW markings with an ATF marking variance.. BUT...that could mean a lot of things, to include different specs on machine work, different coating/anodizing standards, acceptable defect/imperfection/blem levels and so on.

Frankly I don't care either way but for the sake of discussion, I figured I'd respond to the content being bounced around.

And one more thing, Lauer says they are making this lower in house, so maybe they used LMT to source 80%'ish forgings and then they do the final work in house:
https://www.duracoatfirearmfinishes.com/product-p/lcw15god.htm
$85 lowers in stock at that link by the way.

Wangstang-  I'll admit that I made some assumptions based on what I read.  Thanks for being the voice of reason and stating the facts.

Luth AR stock $99.99

This is a good deal for a great stock. I have one on a precision .223 build. It makes it very comfy.

Just ordered a KAC Mlok QD sling mount from them. Already had a label made and "shipped" within an hour afterwards. I think that the owner is in the FCD group over on Facebook, and no complaints so far.

Not really what I'd call a deal, but if you are looking for a Daniel Defense MK18 stripped upper - https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-parts/receivers/upper-receivers/mk18-stripped-socom-upper-receiver-w-handguard-only-prod81194.aspx?avs%7cManufacturer_1=DANIEL%2bDEFENSE

I have a spare bolt carrier group and charging handle lying around, so this is at least somewhat tempting.

AR-10/308 stuff?  Mainly an upper receiver stripped or complete.  Stripped receivers, barrels & BCG's would be good too.  Prefer an 18-20" phosphate or nitride finish.

Not today but I had a good laugh from a C.T.* e-mail I received the other day!
"Time To Fill Your Ammo Box".
500 rounds of .22 LR for $200.00!
5.56X45 at $2.00 per round!
I'd gladly sell a YUGE amount of .22LR for half that price!

When I signed in to BOTACH (ya, ya I know!) to magpul p60 drums are 111.11 with 93 in stock.  Shipping was free so OTD I paid 118.88.

https://botach.com/magpul-pmag-d-60-5-56mm-60rd-magazines/

3, 4 weeks ago, I picked up $240 worth of Glock mags and got them in about 14 days.  I'm not in a hurry so BOTACH works for me, at least 10 or more purchases with them.  As always YMMV.
