Stag 11.5" 1/7 HBAR upper, Colt lower, DPMS 9mm/H3 buffer.  I plan on replacing the Specter Gear sling with a Magpul eventually.  Very reliable.

Has anyone else noticed all the nice looking "safe queens".

Looks like not many make it to the range. A lot of these show no wear at all. Come on guys get some wear on those rifles.

Maybe the ammo prices are to blame.

Talking about SHTF, everybody remembers hurricane Katrina?

Well, I was in the thick of it and this baby here (and my G22 loaded with hollow points) never left my sides for weeks following the total chaos and lawlessness that occured. The UBR was added recently.

To have and not need is always better than to need but not have

no rear sight on the SBR for a reason. the 11.5" Bushmaster upper will be replaced with a 10.5" LMT when it gets here [8 month and counting]. the Predator rail requires that i either file down a sight or the end of the rail to make it work. i chose to do neither and found a buyer for the upper.

as is, SHTF, i take the 16". after the 10.5" swap and the micro aimpoint i will take the SBR.

I'm liking this setup alot. If you don't mind me asking Tenn, is that a YHM 2 piece rail
and how does it balance with the shorter barrel.?
It may have inspired me to build a SBR around my YH rail. Damn this disease...

Still trying to decide between a compact ACOG or Aimpoint micro for the big one. I'll probably trim down the rail segment and setup some kind of quick disconnect for the sling.

Bushmaster XM15 with 14.5" M4 barrel
Magpul MOE handguard
Magpul MAID grip
Magpul MBUS rear sight
Ergo rail segment
ACE FX Entry stock
Surefire G2 LED
Viking Tactics flashlight mount

Yes Sir. Eventually I will change the stock on it and get real sling mounts(I'm using a shoelace for the forward sling mount). I'm thinking CTR or ACS stock...not sure. It also needs an ASAP plate.

What can I say I'm a poor college student .

Cool. I don't see a whole bunch of the Modular Carbines. I have one myself with an ACS stock as well as the ASAP & MS2 sling. Very balanced. I had a CTR, but sold it to get an ACS.

Nice! Yeah I want to be able to switch between my MS2 sling and my Vtac for the different things I will end up using the carbine for.

why the pinned and welded phantom if it is class 3 auto rated and stamped?

I would assume that the lightning link being what is actually registered as the machine gun can be transferred from host to host, and once it is pulled out of the host he would have an unregistered SBR, so to make it without a perm FH he would have to stamp the rifle as an SBR.

Maybe the ole M14...

...probably the little M4 though. Either way, there's loaded magazines for both in the safe with the rifles.

And whatever rifle a fella grabs, should probably take a shotgun too; gotta love the 590A1.

It's a Swedish Army issue Aimpoint CS.

Better view:

Although you can't see it in the pic, the elevation is adjusted with an external wheel, just like an ELCAN.

It provides a lower-third cowitness with the irons, except for the fact that I have it mounted on a riser in this particular pic.

My SHTF rifle (11" XCR in 5.56).  It's light, 100% reliable with ALL ammo and can change calibers in seconds.  Everything I need and nothing I don't.
