Finally got my 762 can, also put magpul stocks on both rifles because of the rear bag issue with the b5/lmt sopmods

@minimike I'm so jealous. That turned out great. I haven't had the funds to finish mine yet, but I'm still holding onto the rail. I'm also still considering doin a shorty version.

Still not done with it yet. I have a new bipod coming; and, I need a laser for it. Eventually I’ll replace the LMT Lower with a KAC or Colt.

My gunsmith coated my KAC Lower I have in the wrong color. 🙄 So I gave him a stripped upper to finish the same color as he did on the KAC Lower and he got that wrong. 😂 Supposedly, there’s an upper in the correct Wrong color waiting for me at the gun shop. That’s turning into a Prairie Dog gun. Geissele MK7 DDC, a White Oak Armaments 26” Varmint Barrel, and a FDE full stock.

I have four unbuilt lowers currently, a pile of parts, and trouble staying focused, LOL.

How does that SF M720V work for you? Worth the price? I'm considering one for my SCAR17 to mount under the rail. My sides rails are full.

@RJeff21 how do you like your Elcan raised up like that?

I thought of doing it with mine but was concerned I would have to crank the rear of it way up to get back on target. It is hard to tell but it does not look like you did in the pic.

Are you talking about the elevation adjustment?  If so, no, it didn’t require much more than without the riser to get it zeroed.

Good news. I'm finally moving out of California.

I have a SR-30 lower and I am interested in getting a SR-30 upper to match. However, I do not want to register the lower as an SBR in case I ever have to move back to California. If I were to get a SR30 DSR upper and permanently attach the suppressor, is the barrel long enough where I do not have to register my lower as one?

Don’t get me wrong, I would love to SBR it, but I’d rather register a different lower, and because of California’s handgun roster, I was unable to purchase the SR30 lower as a pistol.

If a can is permanently installed, with a length that exceeds 16”, the owner does not need an SBR stamp, only one for the can.

You could always de-register the lower if you ever move back to California. Personally I wouldn’t even consider permanently attaching a suppressor.

Cheers

I use to be in your predicament, don't move back I know it's hard not too, especially if its your native state, but I'm going to let you in on a secret, give yourself 3 years to indulge yourself in your new state and you won't want to move back, problem solved! Just my .02 cents, but I'm a native Californian (SoCal) and its hard not wanting to go back to that life, it takes awhile to readjust, I'm a huge KAC Fanboy and my collection outweighed my desire to go back to CA lol, serious I can thank KAC for that, and Arsenal Inc.

KAC 2 stage in here, and waiting on a URX4.

Eventually I’ll go back to not being poor and get an SR16 lower.

That looks like a super sick & limber setup. What NF optic and also curious about the pressure pad.

I put a few mags through this rig today and the combination of midlength gas system, KAC NT4 MAMS, Bootleg adjustable carrier and Geissele Super 42 buffer/spring combo makes this the softest shooting 11.5" gun I have ever ran.  The first time I ran the gun I had some cycling issues which I have chalked up to bad ammo as I was prepared today with a host of springs and buffers but it ran like a sewing machine both suppressed and un-suppressed on bootleg carrier setting #2.

Cheers
