The nephews got a chance to do some morning PT. Even though they got off to a late start, before lunch they had knocked out the following. 640 water "frog jumps" (in water up to their neck, go down under water, touch your toes, jump up and get your waist out of the water) 160 pushups plus extended time on the front leaning rest position for "motivational" reasons. 12 low crawl drills over hard ground and into pools of water. Scrambler and Log Scrambler drills. 400 jumping jacks. Leg lifts... lots of leg lifts. 200 "Superman" drills (in water, go under until your backside touches your feet, jump up. Arms are over head the entire drill). Hill runs with loads ammo cans. Hill runs without ammo cans. Note that my old duty upper (shown here) stays in the training rotation until it is given away in the 100K giveaway.

When this build is completely finished, it will be a PDW (50yrs or less). I like the open view of the Eotechs and reflex sites vs Aimpoints. My 10" 300blk has a Vortex 1x4 and I am in the process of building another 8" 300blk that will have a Eotech. Both of these will have dedicated suppressors. That is why I went with KX5 on this build. |

I need to remember to update this thread a little more often for those NST fans.
The Noveske Shooting Team swept the two largest divisions at the 3 Gun Nation Mid-West Regional Championship this past weekend. ...and after the longest tax stamp wait in history, I got to wrap up this mother. Rough preliminary pics, just got done with it.
My Vortex Razor HDII 1-6 will be here Monday 12.5" Crusader upper 11" NSR WMD BCG Seekins SP15 lower with Seekins billet lower parts Geiselle SSA-E VLTOR Imod and RE I need to get a freaking taper pin for the gas block, it either missed being packaged at Noveske with the barrel, or I lost it after all these months waiitng. Can't believe I don't have a damn taper pin. This is my first Magpul K, if I like the angle I might put these or the BCM on my other shorties

I got my Noveske billet upper/lower as a part of a complete rifle from Jim's Gun Shop NC, one of the top Noveske distributors (Behind DSG, Rainier etc.) The Gen III is nice!
