New upper just back from ADCO.

These pics are from last night after ups delivered. Still figuring out setup, it's actually on a different lower after these pics were taken. Not sure about the light so far forward but that's where it's comfortable. Tried reversing it and using my remote switch and just didn't like. I prefer lights on potentially defensive weapons (especially where I live - rural, so squirrels and such

) so need to figure something out if the blast is too much for the light to handle.

It's super light and handy - can't wait to shoot it!

Well that is an interesting turn of events.

A few months back I got tired of waiting on Noveske to release their NHR so I messaged SMOS to see if they were going to be making their version, but they never replied...

From what I understand it's Burnt Bronze with a higher ratio of Graphite Black. Was going with Burnt Bronze originally but wasn't keen on its tendency to look gold in well lit conditions. The Midnight Bronze was perfect.

Thanks. Didn't know there was an official color adopted for it. I only ask because 3-4 years ago, I had Boresight Solutions work over a couple of my Glocks and at the time, Burnt Bronze was the hotness. Like you, I wasn't a fan of how bright the goldish tone was in sunlight so, I asked if he could come up with something closer to what the DD RIS II rail looked like. Took him 4-5 different mixes to get it to where we were both happy with it;'s really close to what your rifle looks like. He unofficially name it "Dirty Bronze" . What's even funnier is that after he posted pics of my guns, it became one of the top two most requested colors he chosen.

lol I wont be getting rid of my rail, but thanks for the offer

I love the way that gun came out, simple but effective. My CQBR-ish below feels much bulkier for it being a smaller gun, so this is a nice alternative for the wife when we hit the range.

I love mine. I went with the 5.56 and it shoots great. Only thing I wish is it came with the flash hider instead of the break. But I guess they figure you are going to get a can for it anyway.
I ended up getting a silencerco blast shield for it until I can get a suppressor.
