A work in progress.  Full refinishing and assembly will have to wait until maybe May/June.

Had this BCM lower for years but this is the latest transformation.  Paired with a BCM 14.5" ELW upper with 13" KMR-A rail.  I love this thing.

It's my buddy's rifle who's not a member on here. Why?

I have one on the way, as well. Bad-ass rifles.

In the grand scheme of things, I enjoy it while Im shooting the rifle. I think it's a pretty sexy rifle too. HOWEVER, It's *very* skinny and has made attaching things difficult. Im using the BCM Low Pro Gas block, and the screws from the AFG were hitting gas block so I couldnt put it exactly where I wanted to. Not that big of a deal. so I moved it back one slot. Then I went to go put on my new surefire light the other day and was going to slide the rail off but the AFG bolts hit the gas block so I had to either remove the AFG or not remove the rail. Then came the next hurdle and that was the Magpul offset mount that I was installing was sitting so close to the top rail, I couldnt attach it without interfering with my Magpul BUIS. I could get it on, but then couldnt flip up the sights because it was right under the right side button.

TL;DR
I love shooting with it and it's sexy to look at, but the quick detach system hasn't been used because it's so compact. I've purchased a new Geissele MK8 15" for the SPR upper Im building rather than another Switch rail. (next post has relevant pictures because of character count limit)

Here are some closer pictures of the light mount area that I had issues with, and then I also installed a new 45* BADASS Lever and did some stippling last night.

In the US, they were viewed as super evil assassin accessories and thus given extra regulations to acquire them. Mainly, a very long background check and a $200 check to the government. Then the suppressors themselves are usually around $1000.

I really like the Fortis rail. It uses the factory barrel nut and offers a rock solid lock up and fit to the upper.

Still in progress, I'm waiting on a rail (Fortis Rev mid cutout) and muzzle device (Rainier XTC) to arrive so I can do the sucker up in tiger stripe.  I'm recreating probably my favorite rifle that I had to sell a few years back.  Eventually I'll upgrade the barrel from the PSA freedom stainless, but for as little as I shoot it'll last plenty long.  Same goes with going from the A2 stock to collapsable.

Where I'm at now.

The intended result.
