As you have seen on these forums, by our reputation, and I hope by the near immediate responses to any of your questions, we take our Customer Service to heart.
Typically, we state a 48-hour turn-around from order to shipment. (We have had posted since Memorial Day that shipments are typically 3-5 days - it's the banner across the top of our website.) In this regard we did miss our goal by a day - you have my profuse apologies - but exceeded our stated lead time of 5 days.
Unfortunately, and it is not a "BS" line, your barrel was out the door and in USPS' hands on the 5th. From there, it's USPS' responsibility to get it to you and we agree - the shipment is massively inconsistent with supposedly "Priority" mail. If I personally, or Faxon, could do anything to speed it up once in their hands, we would have.
