If I could only keep one, I'd sell the Trijicon.... easy decision. I expected the Yoter-R's performance to be similar to that of my Phenom scanner (12um version) which would have made me a happy buyer but surprisingly, the Yoter-R looks even better. I could not be more pleased & impressed w/ the Yoter-R. |

However, one of the knocks on this sensor was the black-hot mode isn't very good. In the Super Yoter prototype I tested, the white hot was amazing, but the black hot was OK. It kind of confirmed what I had heard from others on the Rico. I reported this to Bering along with my other test results. When my production version arrived, I was very surprised at the amount of improvement in the black hot mode. This video was recorded around 85% humidity, and the 2nd coyote stand I changed to black hot and recorded a kill. Kirsch Chronicles 21 - Ep#9: Saving Cats |

The Trijicon is a pixel to pixel core/screen match as I understand it, so a 640 res LED screen. The OLED 1024 res screen on the Yoter-R is what is making the difference & it's a big one. What really blows my mind is I have more tied up in my 60mm Mk3 (started life as a 35mm MK2 in 2015 & over the years I upgraded to a 35mm MK3 & then to the 60mm) than I have invested in my Phenom scanner & the Super Yoter-R combined. Admittedly I have spent very little time using black hot on the Yoter-R as I'm more of a white hot user so if there is a deficiency there, I haven't noticed it yet. My only criticism - I just wish Bering had integrated audio recording into the Yoter-R. |

Any chance you would be willing to get more side by side photos or videos on the Super Hogster and Super Yoter in addition to those you’ve posted in miscellaneous forums? Debating on making the switch but curious what the difference looks like with various animals at various distances. Thank you! |

One option that can be used now is to use the infirayOutdoors app. I have done quite a few video recording tests and the video quality via the app and via internal recording is virtually identical. There is a microphone option in the infirayOutdoors app. You will be pulling audio from your device, and recording the wireless video stream from the scope. It works, but four negatives. You are using more battery as your wireless is on, you have to have your phone or device along, you have to hit record on your device vs on the scope, and in my testing the audio was just a little behind the video so it wasn't perfectly in synch. I realize it isn't perfect, but at least it is something. View Quote I could do without audio, seeing it as not much value-added. |

Well looks like I may have my Yoter sometime late next week or early the week after. FedEx stopped providing tracking updates on it, was unable to tell me where it was for a week over the course of 5 phone calls to them, then decided to return it to NG because it sat too long and wasn't picked up. So back to NG it goes so it can be sent back to me via a different carrier
Huge thanks to Carina at NG for trying to get this straightened out. FedEx can eat a bag of dicks. |

Any opinions on using rechargeable 16340s in these? Mostly going to be using a powerbank but was thinking it'd be nice to have that option as well. |

Going to try some Arson Machine wire guides. Overall I'm very happy with the Yoter. Incredible picture and a great value. Was really torn on this and worried I was going to be disappointed with it compared to my 35mm REAP. Turned out to definitely not be the case and the REAP is now for sale . Huge thanks to Korey for talking to me about the Yoter before purchase and Carina at NG for handling the purchase. Definitely a happy customer! View Quote As for 18650's they won't fit as they are slightly wider than CR123s. I am testing an option that I hope to be able to talk about in a few months that may help with a similar battery style as 18650s for those that don't want to run a battery pack. Enjoy this great thermal. |

Looks perfect. People talk about what a pain a cord is but if done right like you are showing, it is like it isn't even there.

Idiot neewb question here:
What exactly is NUCing? From what I can tell so far, it appears to be some kind of automatic refresh function for the sensor but I am not finding any definition or explanation of it. Tried searching it and the owners manual isn't revealing anything. Can anybody explain what this is? Thanks, |

I have them for the super Hogster , but not the super Yoter. I spoke with Bering roughly a week ago and they said I should have something in the next few weeks. As soon as I see it, I will put it on the Night Goggles website and provide a link.
