These goods sell quickly, more so than ever these days. The volume of ammunition that moves through here is just incredible, its hard to describe to someone who only sees a fraction of what is really going on.
GT guys said they had 6 pallets more for me at a slightly elevated price that I said could live with, given the current market conditions, possibly a few pallets after that load, but that is it until May some time at the earliest so certainly there is going to be a gap in coverage on that product line. Really x39 looks spotty in availability here in the near future without going to more expensive products like Golden Bear, and even then I do not know how those guys are sitting inventory because they tend to limit information quite a bit, but they are out of all the brown bear variations at the lower prices Thanks sam |

they are out of brown and silver in most everything,, the only 223 they had the other day is brown 62 SP, so I got some of that, its actually been a pretty good seller over the years even though most people prefer the HP or FMJ. They do have golden bear 223 but at prices right near what real brass case ammo costs, so not a lot of demand for steel 223 for $280-300 just because it has a pretty brass coating on the case. Unfortunately the Bear guys just took on some new "wholesale only" distributor clients who market to guns stores and such retailers that often charge $7.99 for a box of 762x39 and similar inflated prices, which is bad for us because it spreads the supplies around a little thinner plus they are trying to impress them with supplying the popular products to get there business away from other Russian importers that shall not be named here, and its also bad for the consumer because its just another level the product must pass through before it hits a lot of the retailers

Can you obtain 5.56 and 5.45? What about the JHP loads they list on their site?

As far as I know they only product they are supporting right now is the 762x39 FMJBT but he said they may see some 762x39 HP and 223 FMJ eventually, these things can take years to develop so i would not hold your breath,, I know they have been through some hard times in the last few years, all the russian ammo importers have been suffering through the power struggle in that part of the market, were some guys sell stuff at cost at a small loss, etc, etc, to try to control the market for future benefit. If you want to see GT products in the future don't be afraid of supporting their new stuff when yo finally see it, because if it does not sell then they will not do it again like 5.45x39
Thanks sam |

Good to know. Thanks for the update. I know there were a couple of other vendors that had 5.56 and 5.45 at one time. Just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a one time deal.

About how much of the GT 7.62x39 do you have left in inventory? I see its down to 20 cases of 1000 as of this posting.Do you have more in the warehouse or is this it?
Im looking to buy @ 2000 rounds this coming week and wanted to know if it will be available or if this is all you will be getting for some time. |

After the lot listed in the system sells to "0" I have to let it sit at 0 until Wednesday, then I will offer the last tender of that remains in the warehouse. Basically almost out, but a few pallets coming in a week or two, then fresh shipments coming in a month
Thanks sam |

Thanks, should be perfect timing for me then to grab some up.If i was to order 3000 rounds what would be the best way to get the best possible shipping price? Two separate orders or some odd number to get under the UPS's weight pricing?

3000 rounds works for a good rate because they system identifies that weight of 120 pounds as 2 packages and only charges for 2, but it is actually 3 so its almost always well under actual cost

It's kind of funny and sad that people wouldn't buy it because it was $20/case more than Wolf. "Gun guys" can be cheap like that. I bough two cases of the GT 5.45 last fall "just because", and when I went back to order a few more cases of it last month, "poof"...all gone. I think I'll just hold onto those two cases now, 'cause it looks like it's a collector's item. ![]() |
