Bought two ACT triggers from the same source. One had the purple spring installed and an extra grey hammer spring. The other just had the regular grey spring installed. The instructions said the purple spring would give a pull weight of 4.5 lbs, the grey 5.5 or above.
The purple spring is noticeably lighter than the one with the grey spring and the other two ALG ACT I have installed before. I will get you guys the pull weights tomorrow.

Finally had a chance to test the two springs.
Using a Lyman digital scale, the ALG ACT with the purple spring broke at 5lbs, 4 oz.
The ALG ACT with the regular grey spring broke at 7lbs, 2oz.
They are installed in brand new Noveske lowered SBR's using identical components that I personally put together.
Subjectivelly speaking, both triggers feel great, but my ideal pull weight would be closer to 6lbs.
Will the purple springs be available for sale at the ALG web site?
