Any chance you may take a look at making a trigger for the EVO?
It isn't quite Tavor bad but close IMO. |
I can't like this idea enough.
I suggested it in the past and didn't have any interest... but I think the Scorpion's going to continue being in hot demand. The trigger does suck though. I really think it deserves a lighter trigger with a short reset for fast shooting fun. Bad news is I think the Tavor and AK are the only guns that Geissele has developed triggers for on guns not used by the US Military. Great news is that the last 2 triggers were those 2... so I sincerely hope Geissele continues their magic, expands, and takes its place as our new overlords. |

I'm hoping for an ALG. Similar to their new AK trigger. It doesn't have to be like my SSA-E, just clean it up and shorten the take up, reset and take a few pounds off the pull. It is a pretty simple design and can probably be done with a trigger job but I'd love a drop in answer.
It is a subgun (minus the happy switch) and they usually have pretty heavy triggers but since the EVO is semi only and the Full Auto has a totally different trigger design according to CZ it should make it more attractive to someone making triggers. |

If they make one, I want on the pre-order list. Would definitely help with 922r compliance too.
Must I offer my first born? |
I'm so spoiled by all my favorite rifles having Geissele triggers that the CZ trigger is a major bummer. Haven't tried an ALG product yet (2 AK enhanced triggers on order!), but I'd be happy with an offering from either one!

Just got an email back from ALG, no plans to make a trigger for the Scorpion.
I have heard nothing from Geissele though. |
At this time we do not have plans on producing a trigger for this weapon.

Hope the Scorpion keeps shooting up in popularity then. They just announced they'll be releasing the stocks with some sort of 922R kit due to the ATF. Seems like an aftermarket trigger setup would help get rid of several of the 922r parts requirements.
I'm in for one. And yeah i just submitted the form 1 so 922r is a concern.
They should make a trigger for every gun ever so there can stop being threads like this.

But I bet they are cool with a niche product like AR triggers and would never make one for a new platform that is rising in popularity like say a Tavor. That would be crazy! |
Just wanted to chime in, I would definitely be interested in a trigger for the scorpion if you decide to produce one. It would go well with the other 13 Geissele triggers I own.

I've been considering getting a Scorpion Evo this year as well, and if there was an ALG or Geissele trigger for it, I'd definitely grab one.
But first we need to get those AK triggers. |

View Quote I think after the AK Enhanced triggers get sorted out and start shipping, they might consider a Scorpion trigger. Just gotta keep our fingers crossed because the Scorpion reminds me of the Scar and Tavor. Excellent gun with a cruddy trigger! |

I'm on the hunt for a Scorpion right now. A Geissele trigger would just be icing on the cake.

There is a lot of interest in a Scorpion trigger. Just check out the Scorpion thread in the Pistol Caliber Carbine forum.
CZ's 922r package is coming out soon, and many folks are both interested in it and at the same time disappointed with it. Two of their compliance parts are magazine parts. We had been hoping for a trigger. I know the AKT is still getting sorted out (at least the enhanced version is), but once that's done, doing a Scorpion trigger would get a lot of folks' attention. Also, as far as I know, nobody else has announced one. |
I'm saving to buy a Scorpion. I'll bet in 3-5 years there will be more Scorpions in user's hands than Tavors.
AKT trigger is the best ever I'm looking forward to a scorpion trigger.
FYI for the Geissele folks, so far the Scorpion trigger market is still up for grabs. An announcement of a Geissele or ALG Scorpion trigger at SHOT Show would be awesome!

Get MPX, drop in S3G and profit View Quote Scorpion with a stock and tax stamp is cheaper than the MPX as a pistol, but I do like the MPX. Don't like how Sig changed it after one year, or the price of the mags. The trigger is one of the few shortcomings of the Scorpion, and there's nobody better to fix it than the folks at Geissele (or ALG). |
Just stopping by to say that I would buy one of these immediately if they were offered.
I'd be down for a cheaper ALG version for sure! I'm not sure I'd drop $200+ on one though. The $6 HBI spring helped a bunch.
ETA: now if a more expensive version had a SD-3G type setup for fast fire I'd probably go that route. |
Hi Bill.
I love you. If you get bored please think of us and put a trigger together. I'd pay a premium for it. That having been said, it's crazy how good the ALG AKT is and how cheap too! |
I have a Geissele trigger in all of my ARs, my MPX, my Tavor, and my SCAR. I do not have a Geissele trigger in my CZ Scorpion... I need a Geissele trigger in my Scorpion. :)

Not sure if it's been mentioned but people are looking for 922r parts for these guns...
I would buy one in a heartbeat. All of my guns get your triggers if you make them for the gun.

I don't have a CZ Scorpion, but a Geissele trigger would push the CZ over to my buy list.
I too have been seriously considering a scorpion.
Mr. Geissele, what's it going to take for us to change your mind about this trigger? |
Any updates? Picked up an AKT for my M92, resisting getting them for my other AKs... I'd even preorder one for my Scorpion
Ordered a Scorpion Friday so I guess I'm here to say "count me in"
Again, I'll vote for the less expensive, less refined ALG version in case anyone cares |
