Bought my V7 last week and love it. The light weight, minimalist M-lok architecture, and DD reputation, is what sold me on it. I brought it home then cleaned and oiled it thoroughly. Even though I'm anal about new firearms, there wasn't any need to clean this rifle. Not a speck of dirt, grease, or metal shavings on any of the components. The take down pins were a little tight but I was able to use a plastic pen cap to push them out. Things will loosen over time. The upper and lower were slop free. When that joint does loosen, if ever, I know an Accuwedge will remedy it. I added a set of Troy Battle sights to the rifle and after setting the mechanical zero, they needed very minor adjustment to get a 36m BZO. I put 240 rounds through the rifle the other day and couldn't be happier with it's performance! It's an amazingly smooth operating firearm.
Thanks to the fine folks at DD for making such a fine firearm!
