I'm probably missing something but how do you remove the Daniel Defense pistol grip/trigger guard? I don't want to damage it but I can't see how the trigger guard comes off. Thanks

First, pop out the pistol grip cap from the bottom of the pistol grip. It's either black or black with 'DD' logo. A finger nail, tip of a bullet or flat tip screwdriver is sufficient.
Next, loosen and remove the silver flat tip screw and lock washer from inside the pistol grip. You'll need a little longer than regular length flat tip screwdriver, ( a #3 should do ) to get down inside the depth of the pistol grip.
Finally, with a very small Allen key, ( I don't recall the exact size right now since I'm on the road, but it's the second from the smallest in the average Allen key set you'd get from Lowe's, Home Depot, etc ) and gently unscrew the small Allen screw on the right side, forward end of the trigger guard.
Of course, be mindful of the selector detent spring and selector detent as you remove the pistol grip from the lower receiver.
