Exactly Out of the box the factory trigger is very good compared to the 7 lbs + on other brands. I shoot mainly off the bench and I am use to a 2 to 3 lb trigger. Still shot a .410 group at 200 yards and so far a .300 group at 100 yards. Not bad for a off the shelf rifle and a pair of 64 year old eyes.LOL

This topic interest me. I am starting to look into trigger options also, I dont believe this trigger to be nearly as crisp as the ar15 triggers I have in my other RRA. I am being told the trigger groups are interchangeable between the ar 15 and the lar8. Outside of the trigger it is a great gun.

The LAR-8 trigger is the same 2-stage trigger group as in most of our other production rifles.
If might be a little heavier than what you're used to if you've got NM rifles or Varmint triggers in your other rifles.

Just wait now, Lets break this down. A half a minute at 100 yds is half an inch or .50. A .3 minute group at 100 yds is .3 inches. A 308 Winchester round is .308 inches in diameter, so you are saying you are literally shooting every round through the same hole?
Please post some pics of this amazing feat, I am eagerly excited to see these 5 shot groups.
