Just giving this a quick bump to stay alive. I'm in for 1, probably 2 of these when they come out depending on price.

Marsh -
I know you guys are running full bore but in an effort to quench the 1-6 thirst for your scope could you at least get the Optisan 1-6 back in stock with options for either reticle they offer? |

We have placed orders for the Optisan with our reticle. No ETA yet. We will get the fixed 6X before the 1-6X. ETA 45-60 dats |

Bumping this for an official MARSHALL update on the Optisan, Primary 6x and Primary 1-6x. All three have my attention. Thanks.

The fixed 6X is coming off the line now. Arrival in two weeks. The 1-6X will follow but probably 30-45 days. Both will have our new BDC ranging reticle

Is it a true 1x? (i.e. how does it compare to the MTAC/TAC30 or TR24 seeing as I can look at these scope locally) 2. How does the FOV compare? The only spec sheet I can find says 120 ft - 20 ft with exit pupil 11mm-4mm (http://www.evshootables.com/6Z_Prestige_e-bro.pdf) 3. In your opinion how is the illumination? Will the reticle make up for lack of illumination brightness? 4. Price point - what would your guestimate be for price - you can give a range 5. Where do i send my money Thanks |

AWESOME!!!!!
I'll definately be in for the fixed 6X when it shows up!!!! CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!! |
|
Marsh - two more questions about the 1-6
Is the BDC calibrated for 5.56 or 7.62? Will there be both eventually? Thanks. |

I was/am about to buy a scope and was looking at PA's 4-16x44, but am thinking about waiting for this scope now. That is if it'll be available soon. |

If it's the same as he said earlier, the BDC will be 5.56 and 5.45 shot close enough to use interchangably.

I was just wondering if whenever they come in, you could give us a time they'll be put online? I have GOTS to have one, and only get on the internet twice a day, and no smart phone I'll hafta make time whenever they come on.
I am betting they sell out in 24 hours or less. |
|
How does the vertical ranging reticle work? It seems like you would fit your target between the brackets which makes sense as each succeeding bracket pair is shorter to compensate for the distance, until you get to the 800 yd mark. Also, MARSH, now that the design is finalized, any info on weight and length on the 1-6, and maybe anticipated price point? Thanks.

Sorry if I missed this, but is there an overall length for the fixed 6 optic. Is it going to be similar to the 3x compact

It still looked pretty dang small. I'd guess no longer than 8 inches?
|

I can't wait for the 1-6x. There doesn't seem to be a decent quality budget friendly 1-6 on the market.

Bumping for an official MARSH update. While you're at the factory, hold their chopsticks hostage until they commit to a ship date on this. While you're at it, force them to give up some specs on it. Length, weight, price, eye relief. Thanks.

Any additional updates, specs/info, pics, pricing or ETA on the new 1-6x??
Update appreciated! |

Any plan for a 10x Fixed power scope that is "GEAR" toward LONG range shooters?
Mil-dot, 30mm tube, MRAD turrent, 100% postive turrent tracking, and durable under harsh conditions. and be able to bring the price point to about $200? So far i been impresse by the PA scope's value and quality, which i will contribue to PA quality control, if you let the chinese factory run wild without PA quality control they will just put out "BARSKA" and "NCSTAR" dunno if that is true or not, so please correct me if i am wrong. |
|
Ooh, that's a clever idea. 6x seemed a little low for a full-size scope body, but a nice little 10x... I could see that being pretty nice for low-cost .223 bolt guns, or maybe DMR builds.

Thank you! So ready for this. I am going to order one as soon as they are released. |

No. The last prototype failed our tests. Too much fish eye that was not there on earlier samples. |

Hey Marshall, I gather from this thread and past threads that the 1-6 is based off an Optisan scope. Is it based off the Prestige 6Z line I hope, not the Mamba?
Any tidbits you can tell us about the quality of the glass would be appreciated. |

Any tidbits you can tell us about the quality of the glass would be appreciated. If it's based off either Optisan, they've changed it up a LOT. Keep in mind Optisan isn't the maker, they're just a brand (UK company mostly sourcing from.China). The Mamba, DmS1, and Sightmark are all made in the same factory. Sightmark has had their 1-6 with the exact reticle as the DMS1 for awhile now. No offense to Sightmark, but I can only assume Marshall is a bit pickier and demanding than the others. Just one of the many reasons I look forward to this, regardless of who makes it. |

We are going to have the Optisan 1-6X with our reticle soon but that is at a much higher price point than the PA |

The factory says they found the problem. Earlier samples did not have the fish eye. New prototype in on the way.
