Taggage for my future contribution and my agreement...this thing looks gorgeous!

I plan on acquiring one soon, unless the 4x Compact is in stock before I have my budget in position.
EDIT: Should be ordering one Thursday perhaps. |
|
Here is mine. Soon to be upgraded with a 7x magnifier or totally replaced with a 4x compact and reflex site.

Got my new PA M4 Multi Reticle in today and I am very impressed. These were sold as blem's due to factory used the wrong size brightness knob. This causes the knob to be tilted during installation and rubs the body. This one however does not rub at all. I am very pleased. I did find out however I have astigmatism and the reticles are a little fuzzy. But when I use the small peep in rear site they are clear as a bell. Pinhole effect! Overall a very good purchase.

I wonder how many of the blem units are left ?
I would like to see how one would hold up on one of my FAL's. Looks like there is a limit of 2 though |
|
Got one of the blems. Got to Georgia in 2 days from buying it. Mine is not rubbing at all. it's a little canted, but you cant tell with out looking closely.

I just got my multi reticle "blem". I love everything! One possible problem. When I look through the tube is it normal to see the multi reticle fixture protrude into the tube from the left?

I assume that's the new one that's coming in a few months? Is that what the mount is going to be?

So that's not a AA-powered unit, right? Will the next-gen M4 AA optic be multi-reticle as well, or just a single dot?

I have an AA sight and have lost the battery cap. Is it possible to get a replacement? I really love the sight , and has held zero perfectly despite being on a hard-farmin' critter-gitter. I have left the thing on for weeks, if not a month or so at a time; maybe one new battery in the last year. Any suggestions if it can't be replaced?

What is size MOA is the circle and center dot in the circle/dot reticule on the M4 multi?
|
|
Is that the GG&G Accucam for the Aimpoint CompM4? If so, does that mean that aftermarket mounts for the Aimpoint CompM4 work on the current PA M4 sights? I ask because I'm thinking about getting the PA long eye relief magnifier. I have non-railed handguards so I don't have much space with my M4 and Matech BUIS. If the current PA M4 works with Aimpoint CompM4 mounts, then I can get the Larue LT-659 mount to move the red dot forward a bit. |
|
Per Marshall, the next batch of M4's will have a higher shock rating and accept Any aftermarket M4 mount.

Counting down the days 'til these are back in stock. Does this red dot have unlimited eye relief?

Started a battery life test on 6/24 with Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA.

i know it would be tight but is there any way you could fit a magnifier (preferably the LER) behind one of these on a flat top with a troy buis?
|
|
You probably could if you use the larue mount on the M4 style

You probably could if you use the larue mount on the M4 style That or a Aimpoint cantilever spacer. |

Long eye relief is similar to the Deluxe except longer eye relief. They will work in the same mounts. |

This was on the multi reticule version using the circle dot reticule. Is this good? How long does a standard "aa" last? Actually, I think it kinda matches up with AFARR's report of 3500 hrs with the same reticule on brightness level 2. Later on in that thread, chris65 suggested: Quoted:
Might be better to do the battery test on its '4' (middle) setting. Then, assuming linear power use, you could figure the other setting durations: 1 +75% 2 +50% 3 +25% 4 +0% 5 -25% 6 -50% 7 -75% Taking AFARR's result of 3500 hours at level 2 and plugging it into chris65's suggestion, I get the following: 1 +75% = 4083.5 hrs 2 +50% = 3500 hrs 3 +25% = 2916.5 hrs 4 +0% = 2333 hrs 5 -25% = 1749.5 hrs 6 -50% = 1166 hrs 7 -75% = 582.5 hrs EDIT: I recalculated using level 1 as 100% and level 7 as 14.2857% and I get the following results: 1 = 4083.3326 hrs 2 = 3500 hrs 3 = 2916.6674 hrs 4 = 233.3348 hrs 5 = 1750 hrs 6 = 1166.6696 hrs 7 = 583.337 hrs My results of 24 days equals out to 576 hours, so it seems pretty close. However, this was just one test with only one battery. I plan on doing four more tests at brightness level 7, (1) with another Energizer Lithium Ultimate AA, (2) with regular alkalines (energizer & duracell) and (1) with energizer rechargeable. Then I plan on doing the same at brightness level 4. In all honesty, I doubt the lithiums will provide more battery life but they will permit the brightness to maintain for longer before dropping of quickly. Also lithiums are practically leak proof when compared to alkalines so they're a better fit for keeping a battery installed but not in use for a long time. |

Looking forward to these being available again...I have one on a rifle I use primarily for .22'sand everyone who shoots it loves it (as do I)....

Is there any word in when the multi reticle version will be back in stock? Thanks
