I saw another big company just released AR lowers that take Glock magazines at an affordable price point. I know PSA mentioned them a while back, I wonder if any progress has been made.

I'd be interested in a purpose built forged receiver like a quarter circle 10.
|
|
I'd love them myself.
I would buy a 40, 9 and 45 if offered at least once. :) |
|
|
seems like psa accidently missed this thread when answering all the other threads.
speaks volumes to me. |

If they come out with one I will buy it up quickly. Even if it means getting wacked with a frying pan at 2 in the morning.

Quoted: Any news? View Quote It's been almost a year since the first unveiling of their 9mm ARs, and at the time they released a video with a guy saying that Glock mag AR9s would come afterwards. Just weeks later, CZ announced they were going to start importing Scorpions, and the Sig MPX finally precipitated from vaporware into a real gun. So in effect, a lot of new competition from big manufacturers came online at the worst time for PSA to be developing a line of AR9s. Personally, I gave up on anyone ever making a nice 9mm Glock mag AR at an affordable price, and bought a Scorpion. |

I gave up on the Glock lower as well and bought a PSA AR9 rifle kit.
Still haven't gotten around to building it yet. No hurry since my suppressor is still months out. Going to run a few hundred rounds through it then get the bolt ramped and barrel cut down. |

I wouldn't count on it. The AR market is slow, and they're spending tons of resources to get the AK line going. They already have 1911s as the apparent next priority. A company can only afford to work on so many new products at once, especially when their main product line is in a historically slow market period. View Quote very true. I would rather havea psa lower like this in the stable than anyoen else. I just think its something thats on the back burner. The same thign happened to me that you mention about buying from others, when it came to a 7.62x39 upper. I ended up buildign my own from other manufacturers, because it took too long. Same with the grendels. Which to my knowledge PSA has given up on as too small a market. I agree totally about the keltec / other manu lowers.. I think a major gain in marketshare could be made with AR lowers that accept Glock mags, in 9, 40 and 45. NO one does the 45s to my knowledge, and that would be bad ass.. |
|
I sure wouldn't blame them for NOT making a Glock lower, would just like some indication either way.
BTW, what is a good option for a Glock compatible complete UPPER? I'm not really interested in building one, would prefer plug & play with compatible bolt, etc. BTW II, PSA didn't get flooded did it? Quoted:

Any news? oh did they forget to post in this thread again? no, but i think theyre concentrating on their ak roll out right now. i.e. this is back burner stuff. the only difference is a small cut to the bolt (usually while getting it ramped) to clear the feed lips. 20 years ago i would have never considered a "glock lower" as uzi mags were sold everywhere to include gas stations (that may be a stretch) but today glock mags are the same. uzi mags have become collectible and run more than the colt / metal form mags. i am in no way mad or disappointed in the business decisions of psa, they continue to do right by me. i am disappointed in the fact that they have left us in the breeze in this thread. there was a glock lower question posed in one of the first psa 9mm threads where the rep stated "soon". i guess that is the rub, as some of us have held off on going other routes since this was going to come about "soon". now we just get crickets. |

I've just noticed that 33rd glock mags are in the AR9 section. What does it all mean?
Also bump |

I'll wait until a few people try them out as I don't like being a beta tester, but if positive trials are posted, I will be on the 9mm listed.

View Quote stores, routinely are last to get stock. If you see it online, you wish to be the first to buy, buy it then. Or wait, for the stores to catch up sometimes months, or weeks later. |

yeah, i just cant use cash on the webstore... and it is easier/cheaper for me to drive 40 min from NC than it is to ship and transfer to my FFL
is it possible to order online and ship to the store so i dont have to deal with the FFL transfer? |
