I have been a customer for years, never had a problem with your "processing times". I always panned accordingly. My mind was just blown! I ordered four items this Thursday. I already have tracking information on two separate shipments with ALL items accounted for. Thanks for the free shipping, you guys saved me $20+ on top of the sale prices.
Knowing what is like to be on the other side of the fence, helps in understanding what you guys have to deal with. THANK YOU for all you do, to keep the masses happy. High volume retail can be a double-edge sword! |

I ordered an upper on wednesday afternoon this week, and got the tracking info friday afternoon.
I ordered a pistol a few weeks back, and received the tracking info 4 hours later. ...hardly seems like PSA anymore, except for the prices. |
|
I have placed 5 orders over the past week and have gotten tracking numbers for each within a day or two from ordering! Even on my last order placed Thursday. I'm sure you guys are swamped.
Thanks as always! |
|
Their shipping policy was the #1 complaint they had. I have had to wait two weeks for an inshore pickup. Glad they are doing much better, hope it was just part of the growing pains.

Ordered an upper on Friday morning while I could get in on a holiday sales, and fully expected it to take a couple weeks before they shipped it. Holy hell, it'll be arriving this Thursday morning instead!
It looks like they got the logistics piece down now, which is the hardest part of any business or operation. --- Edited for autocorrect |
|
Gotta give credit where credit is due, PSA has indeed done something to make improvements...but really they didn't have much choice with the bad rep they had gotten because of really BAD shipping.
My last couple of orders got here really fast with shipping info sent to me on the same day, can't complain about that...and yes, I was very vocal about the crappy shipping service in the past. |

I figured it would take a while for things to show, even after getting the tracking info. Nope, scheduled to be delivered tomorrow as well. Wonder how many uppers they sold over the weekend. I guess they pre-build prior to having them up on the site, as opposed to "bto" like they did in the past? Maybe PSA will comment... |

View Quote dam they do inshore pick up now? and as always someones gonna bitch about it . i haven't ordered anything in a couple months op (i got two fairly sought after 1909 mauser actions (for free) that had been sporterized, they are slowly becoming dangerous game rifles). the last upper i bought on tuesday, i had in hand that same friday. the last few orders were all less than a week. seems like they have stepped it up. |

To give an idea of how much better the shipping has gotten, I ordered the upper this past Thursday night/early Friday (midnights blend things together). The upper arrived a couple hours ago.
The order has the shipping label created over the holiday weekend, and it was shipped out immediately following the holiday. That's impressive. Bravo Zulu. |

Add another thumbs up for PSA's quick shipping times. Ordered an upper last week and then placed another order a few days later. Have both orders in hand already. Great job PSA!!!

does anyone else miss the old days of "slow shipping?. when shipping was "slow" we could count on several things every month;
1.) atleast 1 weekend every month free shipping on all orders over $100 bucks, almost always had free shipping on uppers on the weekend. 2.) fn barreled blem (5.56, carbine) $239 - $249 shipped 3.) premium bcg's on sale $79 -$89 bucks 4.) $30 dollar lower parts kits 5.) $50 dollar carry handles 6.) $100 dollar vortex optics now shipping is fast (on par with other companies), but now we are paying for it. most of us warned that for shipping to be faster it would cost more. i guess the old saying "you can't have your cake, and eat it too" still applies. i wonder how loyal those complaining customers are to the brand? wonder if they just "hit it and quit it" during a sale? some of us bought alot of parts during the "old days", i still browse the daily deals every day. increased prices, shipping costs, ect. have surely slowed some of us down. |

View Quote i REALLY miss the 30 dollar lower parts kits. and the CHF uppers at 249ish. that said, everything else is only marginally changed price wise, and if you wait you can usually get it on sale eventually. that being said, the prices have slowed me down some. I dont think its due to shipping being fast though. Overall im VERY impressed with the way PSA has and IS growing, both as physical stores, and as online, along with the new products. THe biggest issue i have is i cannot keep up financially with the new product releases as fast as they are coming out. lol #firstworldprobems. |

I have just enough to buy ammo for the month to shoot pistol, and I squirrel away as much as I can to make my AR nicer. That makes me a stickler for finding the best deal, and I'm having a hard time finding better ones elsewhere still.
The prices have increased some from what they were before, but it's not a huge jump, and there still seem to be frequent deals. I think that the market bottomed out a couple months ago for finding dirt cheap AR's and AR parts after the market was flooded with completed rifles, uppers, lowers, etc. Now it's winding down a little and there'll be a slow increase in prices that'll top out around election season. The faster shipping is likely a contributing factor to the increase in prices, but I wouldn't say it's the main or only factor. I'm going to guess that PSA will still have competitive prices through it all, and while it won't be as low as it was a few months ago, it'll still be decent. |

View Quote this "some what increase" runs about $120 (+ shipping) per rifle for me. i have been building on average 5 - 7 rifles a year since finding psa, the increase adds up to about the cost of building a rifle (per year). a nick nack here or there may not seem like a big deal, but a 20% increase just to have the parts a few days earlier started becoming a hard pill to swallow. the past two months are the first time i haven't spent money with psa since finding them. i still love psa, i just wanted to find out how others were feeling. we have had so many threads about how slow shipping was, and many of us warned others of the costs of this. faster shipping doesn't mean tell the ups driver to drive faster, it requires more employees to take, assemble, inspect, package, ect. in a larger facility. those extra employees require wages, and benefits. those bigger facilities require more tools, storage, electric, ect. all of the requires prices to increase, for an end goal of wait for it faster production (as far as i have seen quality hasn't changed but production has, evident by faster shipping). |

View Quote Funny, I see free shipping nearly as much as before. Prompt shipping indicates a professional attitude, and service usually follows suit. Response to CS inquiries is also faster and easier. What they need to do is offer USPS shipping on eligible itens to reduce cost and speed delivery even more...UPS is really only needed for larger orders or those containing ammo. |

I purchased two PSA kits within weeks of them first hitting this site - Loved Them - During the Obama scares I had problems with the LPK and stock kits - I wrote them off except for the occasional CHF upper purchase with the three week delivery hitch - First Saturday of this month I ordered three freedom kits (399) with free shipping - The first Thursday of this month they were delivered AND they all went together without a hitch - They still offer crazy low deals and now they tempt me even more - excuse me, I have to go sell my plasma -

I ordered a pistol late last Thursday afternoon and had a shipping notice and tracking number before noon the next day.
About 6-8 weeks back I ordered a complete upper and got tracking info faster than in the past. It arrived a little sooner than the usual 2 weeks as well. Good on them. ETA: Just read the email again. No tracking numbers provided on firearm shipping. Says its enroute to FFL though. Good enough for me. |
|
Ive had 3 separate orders with them over the last two weeks, a complete barreled upper, a complete lower build and a BCG.
All shipped within 2-3 days. A HUGE improvement over how things used to be. |

Well I placed an order on 5/29 and one last night 6/1. If they make it here by the 11th , my buddy who paid for them will be extremely happy, since he's driving 200 miles for a building / loading / shooting extended weekend

I ordered a barrel online late Sunday Eve. Got UPS notification Wed., due here tomorrow. Not bad at all.

What is this nonsense about no tracking numbers for firearms? My FFL works out of his house and kinda likes to know these things before they just show up.
What gives? |
|
I fent on some t556tn we'll see how good they are
Edit, got the tracking number on the 10th Not too shabby |

Yep- shipping has gotten very quick. Both my PA10 rifle kit and lower shipped in less than a business day. Ordered late Friday, got a tracking number for the rifle kit on Sunday then the lower Monday morning.

very happy with PSA, great service both online and in store. Ordered two uppers within the last month and both have arrived within 3 days.

Customer Service here is excellent. Shipping is getting much faster. I ordered 200 rounds of 308 on Saturday and got it Yesterday.

must be busy around the farm this week, more than 48 hours and still processing a lower build kit and bolt carrier group.

I ordered 3 rifle kits and two uppers this week. They'll be here Monday. That's a heck of a lot better than I remember!
