I couldn't get the gas tube out the railed gas block yesterday. I was switching back my 20 PSA CHF back to the pinned FSB and the darn roll pins won't come out. Yes I used 2 short ones instead of 1 long one.

Perhaps. I'm not sure why you'd want to go backwards to be honest. Free float handguards are lighter, give you a longer sight radius, and make the rifle more accurate. There's really no negatives unless you just REALLY can't stand the look. If you purchased one of them, you'd need to buy a barrel nut wrench that works with whichever rail, a standard barrel nut wrench (or armorers tool), standard barrel nut + delta ring assembly, front sight base and post, then pay someone to drill the taper pin holes for your FSB. In the end you could probably sell the handguard for $125 or so. Really not worth it to go backwards. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Yeah I don't like the handguards Want to put normal handguards on it. Colt is out of my price range. I got three lowers waiting for uppers, one is going to get a PTAC as a loaner, the other is going to be my primary. And it's a lot cheaper if I buy the upper, BCG and slap together than buy a colt. Good idea though I'll buy the rail from you Lol, I would do that but I'm looking around and trying to figure out how easy/what I'd have to swap out....looking like it'd be cheaper long-term to just wait and get a Spikes upper Perhaps. I agree they're actually pretty usefull, however sight radius would only be for BUIS which get zero-checked and practiced with once a year, lighter....I don't hang anything off an AR so they're light anyway. Accuracy is good, however I've been shooting a lot of AR uppers (I need to pay bills so I sell an upper, then buy a new one when I get money ) and never really seem to have a problem getting under 1.5" or usually even touching 1" with normal handguards. I'll think on it |

I see PSA is making money on shipping during the holidays.
PSA complete lower receiver shipped to my FFL...$9.00 on 10-14-14. PSA complete lower receiver shipped to my same FFL...$17.00 yesterday. If it gets here in a timely matter I'll get over it. Holidays |

Owie.
PSA BF on Magpul PMAG 30 M3 MagLevel, 5.56x45 Magazine MAG556-BLK is $17.20 with Ground $8.50 shipping for 7 mags, Ground $12.00 for 14 mags and 21 mags, Ground $15.50 for 28 mags ... "Elsewhere" on the same magazine model is $15.99 with $8.95 Flat Rate Shipping no matter how many mags. |

Just keep you eye open and understand the rules. Some rules are for the drive by buyer.

I'm waiting.
Ordered from AIM today, lots of free-shipping. I'm thinking Friday itself and maybe Monday will be best for PSA. |
|
Ordered a aimpoint and some mags yesterday, already got a tracking number?? We will see how long it takes to hit the truck.....
|
|
$49 lower receiver with free shipping... Don't really need one, not planning any build, but I'm having a really hard time resisting the urge.
|

PSA shipping is ridiculous. I will be spending my $ elsewhere.
|

Your shipping prices suck.
Bought from DSG, and AIM so far. Waiting on that free shipping without raisign the prices..... |

I ordered a pistol kit for $579. There was a picture of the kit, showing everything, including BCG, minus the lower reciever. There wasn't a description. Then today I happen to glance at the listing again and it says it doesn't come with a BCG. And has a full description.
Nice switcheroo there PSA. Edit: I may just cancel my order, and take my money elsewhere. |

So far, the DSG upper is the best deal. View Quote It has and will be. I buy from PSA on a regualr basis but Im getting sick of the marketing, shell games, word games, and bullshit. PSA actively adjusts shipping based on the wind direction. Price of product, etc. Its a shell game with these people. I ordered my upper from DSG sunday. Monday the mags I wanted came back in stock. Called to order. Then Tuesday the mag price dropped from 95 to 79. Called and asked for an adjustment. They happily gave it. I also added 2 seekins parts. Yesatrday, seekins parts go on sale. Called and got an adjustment on the ones I already ordered, and ordered another stripped seekins upper. Each time I was met with cheerful, friendly, expert customer service and a resounding "of course" when I asked for the adjustment. They are shipping it across 2 orders, because half is in stock and half isnt. Total cost for shipping the split order? $5. I ALMOST bought the strikefire from them. Then saw tiger outfitters had it for $7 less with free shipping. Im still watching PSA's site for deals etc - but I think the BS is wearing thin on lots of people. Especially the sliding scale shipping charges. |

I never order online since I'm local but I have a question for those who do. Do they ship using there own stamped boxes always using the same option(only USPS/UPS/FedEx) or also use USPS/UPS/FedEx boxes with flat rate shipping? If not, I'm thinking if they gave more options and showed calculations like some other online retailers, they could improve it for guys out of state or in-state who just don't mind waiting....

OK I think I am a little lost here. Are there sales starting Friday / today or Monday?

They "started" monday.
There have been a handful of real deals, but other vendors have been wallking all over PSA in tems of straight up price, or price / value. Also, their shipping charges are ruining half the deals. However people are probably sopping up these "deals" like crazy - so I wouldn't expect much more from PSA. There are several thigns on PSA's site I'd buy if they'd just cough up some shipping. |
