View Quote no one has been told of an official release date for G2 Lowers. To build, you need the stripped lower, magazine, a PSA AR10 build kit, and a complete upper assembly. to assemble, you need a complete lower, and a complete upper, and a mag. Yes LR/SR Pmags fit just fine in all PSA and Ptac ar10 lowers. The only store you can pickup an online purchase at is Farrow road, and no, there are no FFL fees. But be forewarned, the guys at Farrow are AWESOME, and you will have a hard time not wanting to buy more while in the store. |

Farrow is also the only store for serialized transfers.

View Quote Most of the parts are common, but there are af ew that arent. like take down pin lengths i think, and i think the mag catch is longer, and the bolt catch maybe? i cant remember the exact parts. The PSA-AR10 Buffer tube is longer than a standard ar15 carbine buffer tube, and i know that they replaced my short buffer, and spring with an H2 ar15 carbine and buffer spring. the trigger, and the safety parts are identical i believe. there should be some more info in the earlier part of the thread. |

does anyone have a list of what stocks can be used on the longer AR10 buffer tube that will fill the gap at the front when fully closed. My OCD is killing me seeing the buffer tube, it looks like the stock is open a notch when it isn't.

Can anyone confirm CMC single stages work with the original PTAC lowers, without modification?
|
|
|
[#25]
The PTac PA 10 lowers did not have any issues with aftermarket triggers. Only the early PSA lowers, and only the SSA series due to the increased clearances required.

oh yea - as far as the gun - she ran flawless - zero issues feeding, ejection or going into battery.
i also picked up a wiebad pump pillow and berry bag. the bags are very very well made - perfect and much better than heavy sand bags. i used the pump pillow to support the upper like a bipod. didn't really need the berry bag on bench - just used my glock mat when i wasn't holding the gun. The trigger has a nice feel but i would like to lighten it a bit. will a Polish job on the standard tigger turn it into a EPT or better? are the QMS / ACT better? how about the POF sold on psa? JP Enterprises Trigger Spring Kit? |

You may be able to improve it a bit, but If your time is worth anything, an EPT is an inexpensive, and risk-free way to accomplish that task. |

Last Thursday, I finally took out my newly purchased 20" FN CHF PA10 upper to shoot. It mates the PSA PA10 lower perfectly. No any wobbling between upper and lower receivers. I used PA10 buffer tube assembly as well.
I shot 160 rounds exclusively of Federal City 7.62 NATO ammo (XM80CL). To my amazement, I didn't have any FTF, FTE or any other hiccup. It proved to be very reliable to shoot that ammo. I used two mags. One was PMAG Gen 3 20 rounders and the other IWI 20 rounder with a window. Both functioned flawlessly with the rifle. The only thing was that, I couldn't hear a clear, distinctive click sound when I inserted the mag into the magwell. I had to push forcefully the mag upwards to make sure it was fully seated. Both could drop free, though, empty or fully loaded. As for accuracy, I really cannot comment on that much, because I am relatively new to rifle shooting. Also since that's the first time to shoot that rifle, I was more focused on its functionality rather than the accuracy. Oh, the spent cases were ejected at 3 o'clock over 6 feet. |

But I didn't expect to see this on an expensive upper receiver which I paid more than 1K for. 2. There's a small chip sign on the threading part at the front of the receiver extension. However, there's no visible mar on the rear part of the BCG, which came with the upper. It seemed to me this rifle was a little overgased and the BCG hit the the threading part during shooting. If I swap out the stock spring for a Springco Orange spring or the stock buffer for a heavier one, could that cure the problem? Thanks for reading! View Quote You may need a heavier spring or buffer. picked a pa10 stripped lower and just completed my first lower build. everything was straight forwards thanks to youtube. the only thing that is a little suspect is the detect spring for the take down pin.

I called the CS the other day and told the Rep about the misalignment between handguard rail and upper receiver rail. The Rep sent me a UPS return label and the Repair Request sheet. I shipped out the upper on Monday and it arrived at PSA today. The turnaround is said to be 10 to 15 business days. Let's wait and see. Will update after I receive it back from PSA.

thanks -
i'm referring to the design - its a little cheesy the way the hand grip pushes and holds the spring. the spring is so flimsy it's easy to pinch the spring down horizontally instead of pushing it into the hole. |
