What parts are needed for the side folder setup? Question....... Is it the same as a standard AR barrel to switch them out if a grow tired of a 16" barrel and want say a 10"? In your opinion would it be better to cut my existing barrel down, recrown and rethread? |

You just need the Ace folder for a AR15. I am pretty sure it comes with what you need if it's far a AR. The folder looks cool but I prefer one that is a little more comfortable. As far as the barrel, just have it cut down and re-threaded from someone reputable. It probably will cost you $60-80 bucks. It comes off like normal barrel. It is pretty simple. If you do not have someone that can do the machining let me know and I will give you the info on who does my work. If I can help with anything else let me know.

Many thanks. I'm torn between the folder or the CTR stock setup. As to getting the barrel cut, we have a real great guy here in the areathat can do it for about the $$ you quoted. Thanks again. |

Why 9mm cans? What kind of performance do you get out of the 9mm cans? |

You get the ability to use it on multiple calibers, it doesnt get dirty as fast, and its not much louder than a 22lr can. |

Finished my Son's dedicated .22lr.
He's lucky I had a spare registered lower laying around. It has all of the basics; CTR stock, JARD trigger, ARMS BUIS, Aimpoint ML2, etc. If I had known that they had a light weight barrel available, that would have been my choice. I think it turned out alright, and it runs like a champ / scalded dog / raped ape (insert your choice of acronym for absolute reliability here) / etc. |
