Anyone who ordered a large frame have it shipped recently?
|
|
|
Nope
|
|
|
I am still waiting for my large frame as well. Not in a hurry. Excited because it was the deal of the decade.
|
|
|
Picked mine up.
Deal of the year IMO. Hopefully there will be a Black Friday deal on uppers. |
|
|
I got my $ 200 lower, screaming deal. The shipping box was flimsy and falling apart when the gun shop got it. But who cares it was $200. The lower looks great

Mine came in. Black furniture and a curved trigger.
Awesome deal. |

Got my lower yesterday. Awesome deal and looks great. Put my Aero upper on it and it's a tight, perfect fit. BTW, the.upper is carrying a Stealth barrel and an LT-204, so it's got a lot of LaRue to enjoy.

My status still shows as “lowers”.

Got mine today and picked up one of the recent Stealth Sniper Uppers from reddit for $800
I seriously doubt I'll ever be able to put together a nicer rifle for $1000 bucks. Hope it shoots well. |

Not missing. Every round went through the same hole. |

I just checked mine again, and it is now showing complete, shipped via UPS, also no email or tracking number in my case. So I assume it's in transit.
Now just need a sale on 6.5c uppers. |

Ar10 on the way. Order 1127XXX.

I checked my other lower and the selector detent spring was bent, not kinked like the first lower I checked, but still bent. So, two out of two lowers had jacked up springs. The first one acted funny in the beginning, when the safety seemed locked up, but quickly smoothed out. The second probably would've been fine, but I was swapping grips and replaced the bent spring out of an abundance of caution. Word of advice: Check Your Selector Springs!!!

Did the safety selectors feel strange or mushy? |

I suspect the spring wasn't compressing because of the kink, and finally situated within the channel after I forced it. The second lower felt fine, but the spring had a definite bend when I checked it. On another note, I discovered the design makes changing the bolt catch unusual. The beefed up section forward of the bolt catch won't allow any sort of punch to fit in there. I found a could drive the pin forward, instead of the normal backward, enough to free the catch and swap it out. I have no clue how you would change the pin out, because it can't go forward enough to come out, only enough to clear the actual catch. Just FYI, in case anyone's doing some changes like I am. I love the lower and would gladly buy more, to be sure, but it's a little different than standard lowers. |

Really should shit can the tacked thread about it doesn’t charge until it ships. Simply not true.
I’m still waiting for mine…… |

I talked to Larue today. I am not in a hurry, just wanted to make sure everything was good with my order. They said they hoped to have them all built and shipped by the end of Nov.
Well maybe a little bit of a hurry. I have a 12 inch Larue upper waiting on a lower. |

Hope this give hope. My large frame lower, order #112833x, was placed 08/29/2023, received yesterday. I meant to post about it but got caught up with stuff.

Must not be first in first out in order number and fulfillment. 11268xx here and still waiting.
Is what it is and I’m willing to wait. |

Just went to pick up my large frame lower.
Everything looks good, selector feels normal, but I'm going to change the grip anyway, so if the spring is bent I'll change it then. That's a whole lot of lower for 310 bucks delivered. If there is a black Friday sale on the 6.5cm uppers, I likely won't be able to resist. |

order 11287xx placed 10/30 still in status LOWERS

My only MINOR gripes so far:
Staking is basically non existent, I can fix that myself in 5 minutes. When inserting and removing a mag, the bolt catch sticks in the "up" position. Probably just needs a little oil/break-in, worst case I can pop the catch out and just barely break the edge of where it's interfacing, and that I'm sure would take care of it. Last, PMAGs aren't close to dropping free. I'm not sure how common this is as it's only my second large frame lower. They drop free for my Armalite. Not sure if that's likely to smooth out over time with the amount of stickage happening. This may require a different set of magazines to "fix". Don't get me wrong, I'm still really happy with this purchase and looking forward to building out the rifle someday. Decent stock, good trigger, comes with an h2 buffer, large frame lower for 310 delivered |

View Quote I noticed the same thing. staking was almost non existent and they used those castle nuts with the really shallow notches that DD got ass reamed for using a while back. it's not the end of the world as I can add some more staking, but it was a minor irritant. but still for $200 for a billet 7075 lower with a $100 fcg in it..I'm not going to throw a temper tantrum over some light staking |

Ordered 8/30; picked it up today Thank you LaRue for the smoking deal, now to justify $2k for an upper. This appears to be a proper stake to me. Attached File |
