Thanks for the ammo Mark. That is a very nice touch for a rifle in a new caliber.

Anyone find a good deal on magazines yet? It goes against my moral obligations to only have two magazines for a weapon in my home

Got home from work with the intent of getting in a quick trip to the range but thunderstorms nixed that. I'll try again tomorrow.
Swag arrived with a nice looking 6.5 Owner's hat. The scope is nice and light weight. It looks great in the FDE LT104! There is a separate tracking number for the ammo and it should arrive tomorrow. Not a problem as there are 600 rounds of 123 gr ELD Match waiting in the ammo locker. I will take the LabRadar out and get some MVs. Then I'll try inputting that data into the Burris reticle analysis page. The default input is for 123 gr Amax which is probably close but this is a LaRue bang stick so it requires precision load data. |

I've witnessed this round make a marksman out of a scatter gun shooter. I'm guessing we will see more sub.5 MOA groups from this rifle than any other....with good factory ammo at that.

Mark already makes the best .308/7.62 magazine available. Maybe we can get an LT 6.5 Grendel magazine.

So my card was charged! Just waiting for my turn and a tracking number. I guess there was a hiccup with my with my FFL not sending their current SOT for the suppressor. It was my fault I'm sure because I had my order changed the same day my FFL dealer finally got in contact with LaRue Tactical. I had to find a new FFL that also had a SOT for the suppressor because the small shop I dealt with before could not accommodate. Smokin deal on the suppressor
Speaking of suppressors! This will be my first one. Does anyone have an idea of what the wait time for a suppressor is currently? I am new to the whole process. I actually have a 12inch OBR SBR on my want list and almost pulled the trigger about a half year back. Since I am new to the threads I was also going to say, Mark LaRue your the man brother!!(Hulkamaniac voice) Thanks for all that you do! I love my rifles and I'm sure ill dig this one. http://www.ar15.com/forums/manageReply.html?b=2&f=219&t=283993&r=3172697&page=9# |

Do you plan on keeping these rifles around for a while or is this a special run?

Mine should be arriving at the dealer today, and I'm going to get out with it when I can. Not sure yet exactly when that'll be, busy with work, and we have storms in the forecast. But at some point I need to gather some data myself, and I may upgrade my chrono situation. Not sure I trust my old chrony as much as I'd like. Thinking about the LabRadar, maybe. You guys that own one, any advice? View Quote |

I'm out back sighting-in Burris-equipped rifles ... stopping and going to the next one when I get them close. Some of you might still want to move a couple clicks, but that's on you.

Ahhhh, how are we not updating with order numbers? I thought I jumped in pretty early after the email came out, but I'm a ship adrift with no reference from order numbers.

First Post! Made an account since this seems to be the most active place to discuss Laure.
Order #508XXX ordered on 7/12. CC charged, still waiting for shipment. Excited as I've been on the fence about getting a 6.5 Grendel for years but now that a top notch manufacturer is in the game I can't say no. |

Dammit, I must have missed the email or it went to spam.... Mine has been sitting at the FFl since yesterday.

Now that there is one in the hands of one of the guys who wrote the Grendel book and is probably the most influential person on the 65grendel board, me thinks anyone on the fence about this rifle should jump over before there is no where to land......
Well played Mark! |

Got my rifle today. FDE mount and swag not included but 5.56 barrel was in the case with the rifle.
Are the mounts shipping separately with the swag? If so, are the shipping to my house or to the dealer? Will take it out to the range with reports to follow..... |
