I would be bummed out myself. Sorry D3.

Ouch - that really bites!
Can believe that they chambered the wrong caliber. Glad they are not surgeons. Hope they make it right! Definitely will not be recommending CLE in the future. Sorry D3 - Hope you have something good to drink for therapy! |

CLE has asked me to return the barrels. They said they will refund the cost of the barrels, the machining and the shipping.

That's good to hear. What's the game plan for new barrels?

God will not look you over for medals, diplomas, or degrees – but for scars

LaRue made "ME" do it!

What a shit show.
Sounds like they did everyone a service by getting out of the custom work. Best of luck D3 - on to Plan B, which I’m sure will work out for the best. |

No-one I know is machining barrels to Jake's specs, or for a LaRue for that matter. CLE offered to send me two blanks and refund my machining and shipping, but having two blanks all dressed up and nowhere to go doesn't do me any good. I have to think on this one for a bit. |

Returned the barrels, hopefully for a full refund plus costs. Still frustrated about having one machined, but I did order a Bartlein blank, just in case. |

Factory Hornady 130 eldm, had a few different boxes that have been like this. Brass comes out clean and nice, primers too.
Oh and I can even resize the brass, and it shot half inch groups... |

I have a blank I bought from Bruno's so if I ever fond someone who will turn one for me, I'll try again. |
