I saw an auction recently for a AI MKIII with an original 260R barrel. |

Definitely resisted the urge for a long time… but, I finally took the plunge into the large magnums. The .260 does everything I need; however sending a 230gr bullet at 2,900fps is really cool.

Really want to try a 300nm but will likely end up with a 300 prc instead. |

300PRC is a great cartridge, and they are ballistically similar… the lower cost per round and availability of reasonably priced factory match ammunition are definitely pros for the PRC.
And, if one already has a 300WM platform or bolt face… it makes perfect sense, not to go into the Lapua size cartridges. |

I am not invested in the larger bolt face so that is pushing me towards the prc. Thanks. |

Sous vide for 2 hours then quickly seared on the grill. Perfection. Let me guess, you cook yours into shoe leather? |

Come on D3 you are supposed to know he cooked it in water, you can tell because of the uniformity of the color.

Anova. Can't remember which model (if there are different models). It's about 6 or 7 years old so I'm sure there are some really fancy ones to suit your gadget fetish. |

It's noticeable but isn't annoying. It can be noisy if the water level is low, but it has a level sensor that stops it should the water get too low. There's a small window between the tripping point and where it doesn't make noise. |

@mettee ordered the Slash XH buffer and spring. Hopefully it will help prevent another case head separation.

Solid.
Even unsuppressed it should help smooth out recoil. This is the 6.6 creed UU? I think you said you had adjustable gas too. |

Recoil isn’t bad but brass is getting destroyed. The ch separation was on annealed 4x brass. Has me a little twitchy. Going to load some new starline brass I have for the gun. |
