I ordered over the phone because the .260 had just been released and I could not add it to my cart. The person that took my order was not aware that the .260 had been released and had to check. I was told then that Mr LaRue wanted to get some of them out by the end of the year.
My good friend and former coworker received a .260 for review. He has nothing but good things to say about the .260. My order is possibly one of the very first in line and I am really looking forward to this rifle. But, if it will help out a brother in Cali I can wait a little longer. Fr8dog |

Ordered 2 cases of The new Hornady 130 gr match ammo. I'm ready to start futzing myself.

Did anybody get one of these yet?
Any word on the Siete? Would it be chambered in .308 or .260? I'm considered a Remington 700 but would look at the Siete instead. |

Oh look, no updates, no nothing, no surprises. Looks like Larue is becoming the master of vaporware.

I'll preface this by saying this question is in absolutely no way trying to be disrespectful to them or doubting them... I'm just curious. Now I think it's pretty damn clear, the last 8 years or so has been both good to gun manufacturers and tough with the long hours put in by their employees trying to supply the demand. My question in regards to Larue is, is there a reason the Siete hasn't been released, in what I gather is approaching 2 years since it was announced? Maybe the easy answer is these guys are just insanely busy. I'm not in the know at all but it sounds as if they had a military contract of some sort finish recently. My post count is low as I mainly lurk, particularly here in this forum for the last 5 months or so... but it seems seems quiet around here these days. |

Yeah, it is what it is. The long waits seem to bother some, and I can understand their frustration, but I just try to "make lemonade" and use it as an opportunity to focus on other projects/priorities.
I would go out on a limb and say all those machines aren't sitting idle, and I sleep easy knowing there is probably a good reason some of their products aren't being manufactured as quickly as we would like. I think this industry forum can be their own worst enemy sometimes when it comes to announcing new products that aren't ready to roll into production, but when I really start to think about why I come here, part of it is because I appreciate learning about what's in the pipeline. |

If Nov 8th would have gone the other direction, I'd be a lot more anxious. At this point as long as it's the same high quality as my other TOBR, I'm good waiting the 6-12 months they told me when I placed my pre-order. In the meantime I've got money to spend on optics, ammo, brass and Redding competion dies in preparation for its arrival. It feels a little like finding out the wife is pregnant and you got to get everying ready in advance.

There I was minding my own business shooting my LaRue Tobr heavy at the PRS GAS GUN opener at CORE in Baker Florida when low and behold I saw a .260 futzing around the stages. It ought to be shooting itself. The Tobr I'm runnin' is shootin great when I do my part.
I hope to watch it eat tomorrow. |

I didn't get to take any, I am sure there were 2 unicorns there though. Shooters were a .mil and the other was industry. There was plenty LaRue to look at there. Majority of what I saw were Tobrs.
