It's always nice to be reminded they actually do exist. Someone please switch the goddamn MBT hamster wheels over there with Tranquilo ones.
ETA: At least my SilencerCo Omega is getting paroled shortly so I'll have a new something shiny to distract my Tranquilo wants for awhile. |

So a small update:
The barrel is a LW 11.5, standard buffer, standard gas block and will cycle American eagle 55gr without issue and 62gr XM855 (1 mag of each). That's all I had time for unfortunately. First impressions (this is my first rifle can so bear with me) are so far so good. Sound suppression was hard to really judge as it was indoors but what I enjoyed the most is that I didn't have machine gun lube all over my clothes and face! The balance is obviously very front heavy but nothing a few more pushups wont help with. If you are wanting to snug the suppressor up to the rail, be sure you give about an inch and a half between the barrel and the end of the rail. I have a 10in LaRue rail on the 11.5in barrel and have just enough room |

Does anyone have a 308 to put it on? We need a video of something besides a 556.

Bump! Any 7.62x51-shooting TranQuilo-havers? Any outdoor users? Any comparisons with other cans? Still waiting on a Form 3 submitted at the end of March, so it'll be a while before I get to even touch it, let alone shoot it, and I'm dying to know!

So, riddle me this,
"Did you get your $599 $699.00 money's worth?" |

I never owned or shot a suppressor and only got to play with mine at a 25 yard indoor range, so theres that. I just did a quick look at surefire and was seeing $1700 dollar price tags. I have a feeling the LaRue's will be on par with suppressors more then 2x the cost. I put around 60 rounds down range and was so excited to have my 1st nfa. On the drive home it hit me! I never noticed the gas in the face or smell I hear about when using cans. I going to go out on a limb with my limited exp and say I got a heck of a deal |

I'm using it for completely the opposite purpose and on a platform it can't truly shine on, pencil barrel 5.56 SBR, so my only "gripe" is that I wish it was a 5.56 can for shorter length and light weight. When the Siete comes out, I'll let you know if it's worth the money on a proper platform Pros: No back splatter of MGL all over my glasses, absolutey no feeding issues with any 5.56 ammo I've used this far and I have not changed ANY parts on the rifle, it's "as quiet" as my buddies surefire when fired side by side, I have that 1/2 off the second coopin waiting for either a 5.56 or 22LR should the come out, and the brake is damn effective. Cons: Weight (only due to the SBR), the locking ring doesn't appear to work as intended, the pouch it came in would have been nice to have been lined with something that can tolerate some heat. That's about all I got so far after 500 rounds through mine. I still haven't cleaned it or noticed any pitch variation so I will cross that road when I get there. |

Good input. The locking ring is meant to simply "urge" the can from coming loose and reports from the field support that. Understood on the heat resistant pouch. ML |
