I am attempting to supress a 7.62 OBR 18" with a Silencerco Saker. Unsupressed, the rifle runs 100% and is a a pleasure to shoot. Supressed, with gas block set to supressed, I get a FTE or stove pipe about one shot in five (though I am very pleased with the level of sound supression). I sent an email to Larue asking for their thoughts, but I know Larue reccomends Surefire supressors, so I I don't consider this to really be their issue. If the right answer is to buy a Surefire supressor that's what I'lll do, but if others have had sucess with the Sakers I'd love to know how. The rifle is unmodified other than swaping the birdcage FH for a Silencerco break.
My 5.56 pOBR loves its 5.56 Saker, but my understanding is that reliabily supressring 5.56 gas guns is a lot easier than 7.62.
Thanks
