I'm pretty ambivalent about Keymod or Mlok as I have some of both, but I usually don't hang much stuff off of the rifle. That being said, it "seems" like Mlok is starting to win out based on what I have seen across various threads. To me visually, Mlok does look bettter, but I have no problem running Keymod.
So Mark, now that you are back, what are you thinking for Year 2 Q2 offering????? |

would definitely prefer M-lok. I'm still using both, but gradually moving everything to m-lok when available.
that being said, if you made it available in m-lok, i'd likely end up getting divorced... |

Happy with either.

The 2.0 became my 3rd keymod gun. So yeah, I was fine with it. Anymore about the only stuff I put on my guns are a light, BUIS and optic depending on the gun maybe a handstop.
I definitely wouldn't be against adding an Mlok to the stable though. |

Took my 300BO build to the range today just to put a mag through it. Once I got the gas block set for the suppressor it was quite awesome and this is probably my favorite build. SBR nearly all LaRue in a comfortable and good looking package. No groups as it was only 10 meters and I was there to shoot the handguns but it's really a nice shooter.

Since Stealth 2.0 was an overall success I'm casting my vote for BuildAR 2.0, 7.62 Keymod.

The other really nice thing about the Stealth 2.0 upper is that it easily fits over an SLR 7 adjustable gas block. The Stealth 1.0 upper fits precisely over a LaRue low profile, non adjustable gas block, but is too tight for the SLR 7 I'm using for the new 12" SBR build. Anyone else buying stock in Dremmel? Mark, any plans to eventually release tOBR uppers? Perhaps the Stealth 3.0 upper with tOBR quick release in M-LOK

Beta vs VCR. Go M-Lok now and avoid being niche later.

School me please. You are using adjustable SLR series 7 gas blocks I take it. I am assembling a 12" Stealth barrel with a 9" LaRue quad handguard, so the gas block is not extending beyond the rail. The SLR block will not fit through the gas block hole in the handguard. What is the proper sequence for installing the gas tube, gas block and handguard to allow the handguard to fit over the gas block.
ETA: There may or may not have been adult beverages involved in said procedure. |

Thanks for the intel Apparition. Hadn't noticed the holes in the lower Quad rail, so I didn't think I could place the set screws in the gas block. Worked out just fine.
Now, where did I leave that black Cerakote ...................... |

One feature that I like with the keymod is that every hole is a QD swivel attachment point. You don't need to buy a $30 mount for your sling and it's adjustable on the fly.

I would like to see another lower offered at some point. Reardon Oxide please!

Would love to see a Stealth 2.0 in Mlok!
During the barrel sale i built up 2 rifles using a tAR and stealth barrels. I used SLR Mlok rails and love the interface and how clean the accessories attach. Very clean and lightweight. 20" Stealth 2.0 with Mlok rail and 2 position gas block would be a dream come true. |

I have been asked to point out that I am LaRue Tactical's owner.
My work has been used by tens of thousands of US Military personnel, and tens of thousands of civilian shooters - ML |
Yes, the TAC is pretty awesome. Like most people I have an extra trigger or two sitting in the cabinet waiting to be built up, so it is nice having the TAC and being able to practice dry-firing instead of having the trigger just sitting on the shelf. Mine actually sits at my desk at work so I can play with it during the day,, but the company frowns on pictures being taken inside the office.
