Well, guess it is time for me to start the waiting game. Never did more than stock triggers and after thinking about it seems like this is the best route and price.

I have been asked to point out that I am LaRue Tactical's owner.
My work has been used by tens of thousands of US Military personnel, and tens of thousands of civilian shooters - ML |
Got my two triggers in Friday 5/20. Installed one in a pistol build so I could get a feel for the trigger. Very smooth and crisp. Everyone at work that got to flick my trigger bean was duly impressed also. Excellent trigger at a great price point. Finally get to see what this Dillo Dust business is all about too.
Order # 3242xx Eta- lots of cool swag in the box. First time buying Larue. |

Sounds like I'll be getting mine soon, order 32821x. Ready to try it out with my 12" stealth barrel I got last week. Already thinking about ordering a few more before my first one shows up, may need some barrels to go with them.

Finally ordered 1. I held out for as long as I could, telling myself over and over that I don't need it. Eventually the want became too strong to resist.

Oh man now in anxious, I'm 328216. Should have my MBT in a few days to test with my 12" stealth. I'd imagine Larue will have another order coming their way after testing this setup. Plan on building the wife a setup similar to mine, maybe another for me also.

Got the MBT installed. Haven't even got to test fire but already have another on order.

I have several thousand rounds through it. I do not think the trigger is that bad. The trigger feels about the same weight as my Glock. What can I expect as an improvement? People say good things about the MBT triggers. If there actually is a significant improvement, I could stomach the extra $75.00. I spent good coin on a replacement Timney because I did not want to send my Remmy 700 back to the factory. The improvement was marginal at best. The stock trigger worked fine. I just did not want to be the guy with the recall trigger still in his gun. |

My first MBT I ordered 4/15 was delivered today, exactly 6 weeks. I'm going to put it in and try it out when I get home. Will be ordering 2 more if it's as good as everyone is saying, which I know it is. I've never had anything from Larue that didn't exceed my expectations.

I just did not want to be the guy with the recall trigger still in his gun. The best stock/ mil spec trigger I have ever used was a Aero trigger. I thought it was a great trigger. I then tried some of the ALG/ PSA polished triggers and thought, even slightly better. It then tried some of the single stage drop in trigger offerings such as a CMC and Velocity, even better. I then had to try some of the two stage offerings from Geissele. Was not sure if I would like a 2 stage trigger on my AR but I was very pleased, it was a great improvement over the lighter drop in single stage triggers for my precision guns. I then tried the MBT because they were on sale and I read so many great reviews. It is a very nice trigger, especially at the $125 price. I think you will be quite pleased going from your stock trigger to a MBT. |

I was planning on waiting until my build was complete, and I had fired some groups with the stock trigger group, to install the MBT.
That way I could measure the difference in group size. But curiosity got the best of me and I installed it today. Easier install than stock, and OMG what an improvement in feel while dry-firing. I can't wait for payday to complete this build. Edited to add, : I tried some Dillo Dust on pork chops that I grilled earlier this week. DAMN! Now I understand why it gets so much love on the board. Clearly the best seasoning mix that I have used. |

UPS Ground was about the same time frame on the checkout. Guess I'm used to CDNN shipping.... I get that in 3 or 4 days, but it's FedEx Ground..... for what this surepost costs. Or just straight USPS Priority Mail. Even cheaper and 3 days. EDIT: Add a "keep the swag, give me faster shipping" button would be nice. |
