I'm not white knighting for them, I didn't realize this was posted in the Larue forum. Also the reason I took the photo down. ADM doesn't have a forum here because from what I have heard, they aren't allowed to have an industry account. I will stop shitting up your MRO thread. Good day. |

Unless I am missing it , the best price going for an MRO right now comes with an ADM mount .. ?
So until there is an MRO mount from LT have to make due. |

Well, either I give up on Botach's preorder, buy a mountless MRO, and then just the wait for the LT mount. At least I'll have the MRO then, and mounts seem to be easier to get than MRO's...

View Quote That's where I'm at right now, about to tell them to suck it and buy it locally with the stock mount for now. I can get it for the same with a lower 1/3 mount and just wait a year for another mount. |

Just don't come to the LaRue forum and spread that shit about how you like AMD over LaRue. You won't find any love in this section of the forums for anything not LaRue. |

I personally have found all my LaRue, ADM and Bobro mounts to be flawless ..... I am not to terribly picky when it comes to them I just buy whatever I can get my hands on most of the time (I do have LaRue mounts on my PredatOBR just because it felt wrong without) .... I do find the Bobro to be the most robust (and I like the lever the best) but again this is just my opinion .... They all have worked without a hitch for me

Maybe I'll get a Christmas Dillo with my order once the mount is finally released.

Honest question :
Why are we not changing the title of the thread to correct the spelling ? No offense intended - just thought it odd that it hadn't been and I didn't notice anyone else mention it. |

So... Botach pre-order....
I canceled it. I got an email about the low and 1/3cowit ones just starting to actually ship. I ordered the absolute/'full' cowit version after carefully considering it. But they aren't shipping. What's worse, the second the other ones started shipping, the prices dropped $50 to $70 !!!! What sort of reward is that for people that preodered them? Wait a month and when it's finally shipping, lower the price for everyone else?? WTF Botach. Overall, Botach is great, but their pre-order and backorder proccess is infamous. Now I know why. I'll order again later, when they're actually shipping and $70 cheaper! But only -IF- the Larue mount isn't out yet.......... |
|
|
I went and looked at the MRO sight today at my LGS. it is on my buy list, and now that I know Mark is coming out with a mount for it, it is Really on my buy list. 2 MOA crisp dot.

I have an MRO inbound. Where are you on the mount @MarkLarue? I'd like to combine shipping on this and an LT837. |

Pretty unofficial, but I was told "within the next month, or so".

I hope they really do come that fast. Would love to run one with my MRO.

Mine has been sitting in its case for like a month, waiting for a mount. Hopefully soon.

I do not like the look of the ADM mount from the pictures and if Larue comes out with a mount that doesnt look like a small brick i might get one. |

My MRO is still in the box - no mount - and I'm holding out for the LT.
Patiently waiting ... |

My RMO arrived today. I got it with the low mount to allow me to at least use it until a proper LaRue mounting solution comes along.
Patiently awaiting on some LaRue mounting goodness........ |

Called LT yesterday and was told they're 30-45 days away from production.
I can wait it out. Just hope the info was accurate. |

Just get a different height maybe? Like if you prefer absolute cowitness, get a lower 1/3. Maybe someday you'll have an AR with either both folding front and rear irons, or one with a fixed front sight. Or buy mountless and keep eyes open for cheaper take-off mounts on ebay, E&E, etc. |

I just bought the 1/3 mount...I'll buy the larue mount whenever they decide to drop it but until then I'm not waiting to shoot my new optic

I bought 2 MRO from Optics Planet during their 12% off sale with the low mounts so I can use them while I wait on LaRue mounts.

Scalerworks posted cad drawings of the optic before it was released, I'm sure LaRue had access to the same info. Plus the first pictures on Trijicons website of the MRO showed it in a LaRue mount. I would call being beat to the market by your competition a fail. Fortunately, LaRue makes good shit. I'm sure enough people, like me are willing wait on a QD mount until they release one; Mark can still wade around dick deep in caviar if he so chooses. |

I keep thinking maybe Larue has an all new locking system that they want to unveil on the MRO mount or something.
He in no way owes anyone an excuse as to why they haven't been released but it would be nice. There are quite a few people out there letting their optic sit in a box because they can't afford to buy two mounts and they want to support Larue. |

You can get a factory mount for $40, this lets you use the optic while you wait, if you find out you don't like the MRO for whatever reason you don't continue to waste time with an optic sitting in a box. You'll get most if not all of your $40 back when you sell the optic vs. having no mount at all or selling the mount alone after the LaRue comes in. If they literally can't afford to buy two mounts then they probably shouldn't be buying 1 mount. Maybe I'm just really impatient, I want to use it straight away! As to the real reason to why they haven't been released, who knows. I'd imagine their time and energy isn't going to waste, probably other orders/contracts/products that are more pressing and/or profitable. |

I wonder if the LT mount we saw in all of the Trijicon promo pics was just a mock up and not a functional mount, I hope it comes soon.

I bought 2 MRO's with the factory low mount form Optics Plant so I could use it until LaRue releases their goodness.
I can and will wait to buy LaRue's mount when it become available. They make many thing for our military that has always taken president over their civilian market. I sure there is a good reason as to why no LaRue mount is available, and Mark likes to keep his cards close to his chest. |

I almost ordered an ADM, but then I picked up my Atlas with ADM mount and decided not to. The MI mount looks the same as the ADM. Bobro scope mounts are nice, but the lever is way too big for a micro red dot. I decided to order the basic Trijicon absolute mount to hold me over till the Larue comes out.
