Its really good stuff, even the primers are crimped and sealed. I need to bust out my real deal MK262 stuff but I only have 50rds left. This rifle far exceeds my capabilities as a shooter. I'd like to see some distance groups from guys who can really shoot. |

After loading all my mags, I have room for another 2K in my ammo storage... While I would love the 77gr, I have 1/9 twist rates on both 5.56's at the moment so I would probably need to stick to the 55 & 62 grain stuff they had offered at the bottom of the page... Both barrels are too new to justify buying new ones right now, especially with the 7K spent on Dental work in the last 6 weeks...... |

Shooter screwed up? Not sure, that page is for 4 types of ammo too.... They other two types are not listed anymore, they were .223 and .308 FMJ ammo. |

|
Just looked, the first bad review is:
I bought several 50 round boxes of the 223 Norma TAC ammo and have shot almost a box through all 3 guns I have in that caliber. Two are walking varmint rifles a Rem 700 and Sako A1 and the other is a heavy varmint barreled AR. They will all shoot better that MOA at 100 yards on a bad day. With this ammo the groups are anywhere from 2 inches to over 3 inches on a good day. It's just that bad. You might buy it for the brass, however the quality of that is in question too. View Quote The TAC ammo is the FMJ, not 77 SMK ammo. Second negative review is talking about the .308, doesn't specify if they are talkign about match or TAC flavor |

They took my barrel to the wrong address where the individual refused the package and it was returned to sender. So, on the 21st at 7am when the UPS customer service line opened I was on the phone trying to figure out what happened and stop the return. I was told "sorry once a package is marked return to sender there's nothing we can do to stop it". Oh and not to mention it was now being shipping basic ground instead of the 2-3 day I had paid for. I was also told that once it got back to Texas it would be shipped back basic ground because they can't change the shipping method. So, I patiently (still frustrated) waited for my long awaited barrel to make its way back out to Texas then be turned around and sent back to me in California. I was told it would be delivered to me on 9/2/2015. Fast forward two weeks and hello Sept 2! Nothing. Package delayed and will be delivered Sept. 3. I leave work early to be sure and not miss the delivery driver. At about 6:45 pm I see the big brown UPS truck turn left onto my street! I jumped up excited to finally have my amazing stealth barrel in my hand! I watch aghast as the driver just flies by, gets to the end of my street and turns right. Gone. By 6:50pm I was again on the phone with UPS, this time with a supervisor. And once again the package was marked "package refused. Return to sender". Can you imagine my frustration? So after having a lengthy conversation with the supervisor (I'll spare the details) she assures me the package will be delivered to the UPS access point about a mile from my house and will be ready for me to pick it up in the morning. Sept. 4 I get up and head over to the UPS store I was guaranteed my barrel would be at. Nothing. My barrel was already on a truck leaving California. Again. Holy shit guys. Yet again another call to UPS customer service. This time I was out in contact directly with the supervisor of the San Diego hub. Whom guaranteed me the package would be intercepted and that she would personally hand my package to the driver with specific instructions to not come back without having handed me the package. Alas, I just received confirmation it was delivered. Only not to me. Back to Larue Holy shit UPS. How can a business the size of UPS make these kinds of errors!?! Maybe one day I'll get to finish this build and put my stealth barrel on it. So no one else is shooting their new barrels? I'd like to see some more groups. I may go shoot my 18" stealth to 1k on Sunday if I have time. I've been carrying my 16" PredAtar the past couple of days. I forgot I only sighted it at 25yds; missed a coon this morning and a hog this afternoon.
I did finally shoot the fox that killed all the chickens with the 18" a couple of weeks ago. |

Just got back from the range with my 20" Stealth, been doing some load development the last couple months as time allows.
So far the promiseland is 0.5-0.6 MOA 5-shot groups with 69 SMK's and 8208 XBR. Once I get it dialed in I need to see how well I can do over (5) 5-shot groups... |

With the last set of testing that I did, the best groups were showing up at 23.4 and 23.7 gr of 8208 XBR. Those were 0.766" and 0.818" respectively with right at 1.00" groups in between. I need to do some repeatability testing to see how consistent they are, or if I just had a couple lucky 5-shot groups. Similarly, my testing with Varget produced 0.885" and 0.780" groups at 25.2 and 25.4 gr. respectively. Same repeatability/consistency rules apply. ETA: group sizes listed are outside/outside |
