I have a Stealth upper on an Umbrella lower. It might as well be a LaRue rifle since the lower and the lower parts are the only thing not LaRue. SSA-E out MBT in. But ill keep that Geissele trigger because they are top notch as well. I have to lowers sitting in the safe that will need to be built sooner or later.
Thanks LaRue. |

Do full price MBT's come with a hat? I see at the top of the description, "MBT and a hat", but the Father's Day Special picture of the trigger and hat is gone, and I see no other references. I thought that title may be a remnant from last nights sale. The hat's new, but heck, might as well. ML for the win......AGAIN!!!! Hey Mark,
Any chance of a promotion like this happening again? I placed two in my cart after the email came out but for some reason I was unable to proceed to checkout. When I came back after a while to try again, I was able to go to checkout but the sale triggers had sold out and the price had reverted back to the normal price. I would love the opportunity to buy at that great price but I do understand if it doesn't happen. I left the two triggers in my cart, just in case. |

No status update yet. If we got the order in, are we good to go? |

It has now begun....
Brand new LaRue MBT trigger posted on gunbroker.com with a starting bid of $175. I am a true capitalist and as willing to turn a profit as the next guy but it's just a little frustrating that some will take advantage of promotions like this and scarf up these very limited quantities in order to turn a profit. Thus keeping many that simply want the opportunity to have a great trigger at a great price out of the loop. I would never try to speak for Mark, but I can't imagine that folks buying his products at a promotional discount and then immediately reselling for a profit is what he had in mind. On the other hand, my thinking may be totally flawed and the dude on gunbroker may have an MBT left over from the purchase of a LaRue lower. Shrug.... Rant over. Thanks for letting me vent....I do seem to feel better. And before you bring it on, please understand that I fully acknowledge that any comments that may come my way accusing me of being a complaining malcontent or a sniveling Mary are totally deserved. |

Looks like the regular price of the MBT went down, I think they were $249 when they first came out, then $230 the other day before the sale and now it looks like they are $220.

One guy tried buying $80,000.00 worth of them ... No need to apologize sir. I attempted to purchase two of them myself but it didn't work out. My concern wasn't how many per customer, but rather the intent to re-sell rather than putting to good use. No one but the buyer has control over that though. Not complaining at all about the way the sale went down. Just venting a little. I will still end up buying two MBT's soon....I just was excited about not having to spend as much. |

View Quote I learned my lesson when I missed the Aim Surplus sale that they had last year for $109 or so for a Geissele G2S. I had a chance to buy early, but took my sweet time and lost my chance. This time, as soon as I saw the LaRue sale ( I think it was about an hour and a half in ) I jumped on two right away. I actually just sold one of my Geissele triggers. I have #52/100 of the engraved LaRue Triggers in a Noveske Gen3 recon right now ( No, I didn't win, but had a chance to buy one off another ARFCOM member for a reasonable price ) One trigger will be going into the same SPR that the Geissele was in. Another trigger will be stored away for a future build. No attempts at Capitalism here, just really glad I was able to score a mega deal on these sweet triggers for myself. Funny thing is, two other friends took their sweet time and by the time they were going to check out, triggers were sold out. My other friend however got in on 1 as he showed urgency. |

One guy tried buying $80,000.00 worth of them ... I'm mad because 5 of my 7 freedom sticks are being left out. JK, I'm happy to put my two to work. I think the limit two is very reasonable. Like many of you, not all of my buddies are as into the hobby as I am, so I'll take an extra with me to the range. Someone who wouldn't have normally known about the MBT will get a sample and I won't have to hand over my primary (I'm a little stingy with my favorite girl). Good call on the limit of two. It's natural that folks will be left out. We've all been there. |

I bought two. One for me and one for my son. I've never even shot a two stage trigger. We are planning a range trip as soon as I get them to see how it is. He has never shot a two stage either. Mil spec is all we have ever had. Hey you do the best you can with what you've got.

Damn I see people are really digging this trigger, is it really that much better than a geissele that a lot of you guys are selling them?

View Quote I've own/owned the following 2 stage triggers: Geissele SSA-E, Geissele SD-E, Geissele G2S, and a LaRue MBT-2S Can't really compare the Geissele Enhanced Triggers because they are lighter than the LaRue's ( 3.5 pounds vs 4.5 pounds ). The break will feel more crisp on a lighter 2nd stage. I will say that the trigger bow feels really nice on the LaRue. It was a no brainer for me to sell my Geissele G2S for an additional LaRue. As far as comparisons of the 4.5 Geisseles ( SD-C, SSA and G2S ) vs the LaRue. It's pretty close, I'd say it comes down to preference of the trigger bow shape. Although it is probably subjective, I do like both the 1st and 2nd stage of the LaRue's slightly better. I have no problems buying Geissele or LaRue. I really wasn't looking to buy a new trigger, but @ $125 it's a can't miss deal. |
