Mark,
Hate to beat a dead horse, but I'm really hoping for you turning out a 6.5 creed. If I took a dip in a lake and held my breath, would I come up a floater? |

I was an impressionable lad and 6.5-270 was Warren Page's favorite, so therefore it was my favorite too. |

But I get where you're coming from. I've had a thing for 6.5mm ever since I wanted a Mauser when I was in my late teens/early 20s and I looked over the ballistics tables in a Guns & Ammo annual I had at the time. As far as I was concerned the 6.5x55 Swede out performed the other military Mauser cartridges, so it's what I settled on, and Swede Mausers are the only kind I've owned. |

Those Mauser guys were ahead of their time. |

Will a standard barrel extension work in a TObr?
I may just buy a 308 and have a custom barrel done in 6.5 or 260. Have money, tired of waiting. |

I've been holding out to buy a heavy for when LT has a 6.5 Creedmoor, since all the long range people I know shoot that caliber (and we have all the equipment to roll our own). Mark, I know you have a reasoned approach for doing what you do. I hope offering a 6.5 CM makes sense for LT at some point in the near future.

That said, I'm glad to see you getting into the 6.5 mm game. 6.5 creedmoor appears to be more popular because of the factory ammo availability. Personally, I went with it because of this and because I already have a 243 and 308 and wanted something different. |

So if and when 260 is released are us tobr guys gonna have a chance at a barrel cartridge combo or is this going to be a complete gun buy?
|
|
|
I would hope to have a cartridge to swap out on a 7.62 Tobr. Both would be great.

Looking for a 260 sparrel package but hoping for some more barrel length options like 20-24". Looks from the pictures the 18" may have a gas tube longer than typical "rifle" length. May explain the extra time in development to find just the right length of gas system to maximize performance. If I'm correct, may be a while for other lengths if they have tune the length of the gas tube for each barrel length. Whot say you Mark or Mark? Patiently waiting....... |

Praying for some 260 momentum

I look forward to longer barrel options for sure!
