I'm just upset that some people are saying they're too old for tactical stuff, and they want a wood stock from a tactical company? I just get a little worried, as some companies go way outside their roots. |

Yet I am old, I remember earning good money as a kid working on wood boats. I sanded so much I didn't have fingerprints for years. Once you get the smell and feel of wood in your system it is hard to shake. I have to say it is also fun to show up on the line and be the only one shooting wood. The looks get even better when they see your groups. As Mark said, sleeper guns are great! If you are set on tacticool duct tape some foam to the stock! |

Heck I'm only 28 and I would like one in a more traditional stock. I just don't care for chassis style stocks. I really want one in .300 win mag something to throw over my shoulder and trek through the woods. |

I guess m1903s, M1s, and M14s weren't tactical with their wood stocks. Yeah, times have changed. But, wood has its place in gun safes. A significant number of LaRue customers aren't military/LEO and aren't committed to everything being tacticool. But, i guess some couch comandos demand it.

a Jewel trigger on a tac gun is a POOR choice... if he wants great, make it a Huber, if he want good, make it a Timney, but never a Jewel not even for a hunting gun... a bench gun?.. great, but a Jewel has never been known for reliability in dust/dirt, and bad weather... |

It dawned on me moments ago, that I have known all along...
I have this little BS response to low key and off the cuff questions at work - "Seven. The answer is always seven." Sometimes it even works out, when it's a "numbers" question :) Then suddenly I could see. Siete is the chosen one. Has always been. It has been foretold. Bump for more details! That was in with the 2015 catalog I received with my order, LT-111 mount. The Siete is very intriguing, but I'm waiting to see what pricing is going to be for this rifle. I'm gonna need a bigger safe.....and maybe a bigger house to put it in. Damn it.

still went with a Jewell huh?... thats a big fail for a TAC gun...
