My yard just sucks to mow because it's like a damn obstacle course with all of the damn trees and plants Round Up is your friend Weeds aren't a problem, it's that there are 10 trees, a burn barrel, a burn pit, a septic tank cover, a shed, a large flower bed and 2 individual large plants to get around..............and that's just the back yard. The front has a goofy shaped side-yard with a bush in it. The other side has a big shitty tree in it and a 6 foot long fence that runs to the neighbors lot. And up against the road, there a telephone pole, a stop light ahead sign, the mailbox and 2 bushes (1 of which is against the power pole). I spend more time in 1st or 2nd gear cutting tight around all of these things or backing up than I do going forward. New place only has 1 medium sized tree (that I will probably be cutting down in the first year) and 1 large established tree. The rest is nice straight lines to mow. |
