I'm also extremely interested in potential pricing for one of these!

Guys, you're looking at the most over-built 22 there can be on this planet.
Lots and lots and lots of CNC machining have gone into that rascal. |

SBR .22 upper, please. 16" plus a can is too long, and not needed for .22lr anyway.
And if someone was to be the first poster in, say, one of your UHFO contests, would just swapping out the BCG turn this into a PredatAR? Or are you talking about a different barrel?

I think this is about a proper 1/16 twist .22 upper. The .002" extra bore diameter and fast twist rate doesn't make for a good conversion. |

I'd be interested only if it could be done with excess capacity at LaRue, otherwise I'd like them to support the 5.56 and 7.62 plaforms without added stress.
If it can be done without sacrifice, then, yes, go for it. My $0.02, YMMV. |

I'd be in... It would be cool if separate uppers were available but beggars can't be choosers. |
Pending on pricing I would love to see one. I think if possible a upgraded barrel would be nice too.
I may be interested in one depending on the price, BUT I would want an upper only.
Very Interested I picked up a Nordic but haven't gotten to the range yet, need details on this!

The bar has been raised.
The Dead Center of Precision, now in Rimfire. |

Sure!!
We can use it on stuff like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2N5FprloPw and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRI68cbF-ac&feature=related Make them and we will buy them!!! |

Upper only here, makes it more affordable for the masses that will want one, as a side note also available in.17hmr
I know, I know. I waited and dropped hints that were ever so subtle even for a texan but the fact remains I needed two, one for me and my one for my little guy so CMMG it was. They are very good people too if you ever get the chance to meet them. Still that didn't stop me from buying from Mark anyways. He makes kickass stuff and I don't mind paying for quality. God I'm sick of chino junk.
God bless Texas...and missouri |

How about a option to buy with with a PredatAR? maybe $2,000 for PredatAR and dedicated .22 Upper. One package deal!
I already have 1 PredatAR 556 & 1 OBR 762.
I was going to buy at dedicated Spkies upper....This can be put on hold for a LT .22 upper, oh yes it can!!!! A PredatAR style upper - using BLACK DOG mags. YES, PLEASE and THANK YOU! |
Now if that doesnt just scream - add a suppressor ....................
At least the upper only option for those that have already purchased OBR/Light/Pred seems fair

If you have to ask - just means I am writing a check and not doing a credit card order, right? Or - do I take it out of petty cash - or will one gold coin cover the cost? Key that I will be interested in - will it work with common 22 lr ammo - or will it be fussy eater of only mini-mags. |
Dedicated upper or a conversion kit for PredatAR will work for me. Pricing info would be very appreciated.

I'm in!! however it would need to be not just a drop in conversion, but one with as a dedicated upper with no chamber adapter. Cool thing about this is that you get the look of a 14.5" barrel out of a 16" barrel as the barrel extends further into the upper receiver. Now the challenge is Mark, could you get it to shoot better than my Kuehlprecision dedicated upper that i built to match my EIC Excellence in competition) military service rifle for cheap practice? Cause at 50yds it will hit a dime all day with open sights. Rick Kuehl retired and I'm looking for a lighter weight, shorter, highend .22lr upper, and LaRue Tactical is the kind of machine shop that can deliver.
I think you'll sell quite a few but unless its comparable in pricing with other .22 makers, I don't see it taking over the market. A big part of shooting .22 is value and being cheap.

LaRue needs to fill the void left by Kuehl. |

Oh hell, it ain't gonna take over the market by no means, matter-of-fact, it will be the antithesis of taking over the market. |

I would love to buy one of these, but further than that, if you offered .22 dedicated uppers, with SBR length barrels, you've got one instant sale, right here.
Mark I hope you guys stay focussed on the obr/predatar hybrid, and if your not....
