I just got the Team email reminder. Mark your a cruel man how can you tease me like that, I don't have cable/satellite. or an OBR

The LaRue guns looked GREAT! .... I thought a few of the shooters were gonna fall off the platform when they jerked, expecting them to fire. Isnt it always soooo easy to armchair quarterback! Seriously though, great guns by a great company looking good! Congrats LT!
Good round fellas! I'm surprised how many forgot to insert a magazine though. lol, oops!
Sweet rifle!!Something going to look into into for the near future and probably alot of other people.

PredatAR 5.56 would have done well in that challenge. Either way, it was awesome to see LaRue get that kind of national attention.
It was the a plain set up with a coll. stock
and a light scope appeared 1x4 or something similar looked kick ass.... some people missed 100m targets 7 and up to 10 times however they were shooting standing off hand with elavated heartrates kind of heavy for the girls |
I bet mark LaRue and crew will be loaded down with orders now!! As if they were not already.. Congrats mark for the top shot feature!!
You made a suggestion a while back on that Bennie Cooley Comp some time back. I have that comp on a few of my setups and I love it!

Looked like Beenie Cooley Tactical Comps on there. |
I thought it was the 5.56 version and I think the scope was a Trijicon 1.25-4. I couldn't believe how many shooters forgot to load a freakin magazine.

I looked at the picture and sure enough it was a 7.62. The magazines looked like 30rd Pmags when I was watching the show earlier. |

Looked like Beenie Cooley Tactical Comps on there. I stand corrected, looking at it on the HD You Tube it appears to be a PRI 308 MSTN Straight Quiet Control Brake. It's a good brake but I still prefer the Beenie Cooley. |

In the video, it says (in text on the screen) that you can go to history.com/topshot to see what makes the OBR superior to other guns, but I couldn't find anything there.

Congrats M.LaRue, that is great advertising for one of the best!
Congrats Mark & Co.!!
Can't beat advertising like that. I was trying to get through to the already busy e-mail to Leander this week but hope is lost –– after this they are gonna be BUSY!!! Oh wait, they already were! You know how many browsers opened to Google LaRue OBR around the same time? Yeah baby. Time for the "Top Shot" special promo package! |
Glad I ordered when I did. It looks like the orders for OBRs will go through the roof.
Quoted: TopShot Dillos? Ahh, now that would be cool!!!! Doubt it will happen... I'm sure the Top Shot execs would get all greedy and bring this to a halt... |
The OBR slow-mo video was interesting as there was a downward barrel flex in relation to the handguard on the discharge. Something usually too quick for your eyes.

Glad I ordered when I did. It looks like the orders for OBRs will go through the roof. I tried to call today around 11 a.m. Got the answering machine. I've never had that happen before. The phone lines must be smoking. It seems the word is starting to spread. Let's face it, LaRue was a small company that had never made complete guns until the OBR and Predatar came out last year. The military and competitive shooters learned pretty quick as did guys like us who were already fans of the scope mounts and Stealth uppers, etc. But from discussions I see on other gun forums, lots of average shooters (most?) had never even heard of LaRue - or not till lately. It looks like that's changing. Maybe I should've ordered that 5.56 version earlier. I'd hate to see the wait time go to 10-12 months like many other specialty/custom guns. |

Looks to me like he's letting air into his shirt to dry his back off. Does look kinda weird but remember that these guys probably aren't used to being on TV.

I've never watched top shot before because some of it just seemed goofy. But watching those two guys running the OBR's side by side will probably keep me watching for the whole season. That was just wicked. Nice job LaRue!

Glad I already have my OBR 7.62 and PredatAR 5.56.
If you have been on the fence, better move now. |

Someone needs to get the spot at Historychannel.com about the OBR onto YouTube before it goes away. That was a good spot they did for the rifle and company...
