So you just have to be a team member, you don't have to enter anything anywhere? I never heard about this contest until someone from WI won and posted about it in the WI hometown forum. I have been a team member for years. Visit the team forum on the first of the month it'll be at the top. |

My personal mantra, "If it wasn't for bad luck, I would have any!" That said, I'm excited and happy for all winners.

cool, so team membership is an automatic entry for the giveaway. thanks for the info You gotta pick a number from 1-1000 and post it in the new thread each month. It'll be in the team forum and have a metric-crapload of replies before you'll even get a chance to throw your number in the pot. ![]() |

Interesting. These are all so beautiful/badass.
Would winning the package/upper qualify someone to purchase a lower? I'm guessing, yes, but just checking. |

April 2009
Damn, today was a good day! Seeing the UPS driver pull a boxed Storm case from the truck Upper, furniture, sling, scope mount, iron site, other goodies, and I FINALLY get to try Dillo dust. California says no standard cap mags for me so they had to leave those outbut I'm not complaining.
add in a Kaiser Defense lower I picked up last week.
Thanks Mark and everyone else at LaRue, you guys are fantastic. |

I was the April 2008 winner. The number I use was my badge #. good bet eh?
The rifle arrived the same week my first son, Dillon was born. It was the best week of my life! here is the package as I received it:
a week later:
I had to get the soft case, ACOG mount, sights, and a few other things.
I even took a fox with it:
It now has a LaRue receiver. will take a pic and post it in a few weeks. Thank you Mark!!!!! God Blessed Texas! |

December 2008 winner.
Some groups I shot today with some handloads. 16" Stealth DMR, Millet DMS scope shooting off a sandbag.
Top left is 68gn Hornady 23.5gn Varget Top right is 69gn Sierra matchking 25.5gn Varget Bottom left Sierra 53gn Match 20.7gn IMR 4198 Bottom Right Prvi 75gn match Center Nosler 77gn CC 23.7 gn Varget. I think I would do even better with a better scope. The Millet DMS is not the best scope for bench shooting, especially when you have bi-focals.

August 2009 Winner
The "brown truck of joy" dropped it off yesterday. I'll post some more pics once I get it assembled. I'm toying with the idea of reconfiguring with an LT low pro gas block and my 12.0 rail.
Thanks again to Mark the whole LT crew! ETA 11/16/09 Here are some recent cell phone pics with FDE furniture and my 12.0. That's a Primary Arms 1x-4x I got as a placeholder until I can save enough for a TR24.
Got this one at about 230 yds with 77 SMK handloads.
This one came out to see what the ruckus was, and the SMK made it fall right back in its hole. This was about a 180 yd shot.
Same critter as above, just pulled out of the hole to show how massive it was. |
