No doubt, Larue is top of the line!
Hey Mark, any way for someone to order that nice GWG poster without it being framed? How about a supersized version of it? Like, movie poster size? |

Damn....I got my armadillo opener stolen from my house last time I had people over for a few beers !!!!
|
|
|
ANother +1 on the LT gear, my 'dillo opener got wore out last night and the SPR mount got a work out this AM at the range.

I actually have the dillo on my key chain and every day when I drive to work it hits my knee cap...
Opened many a tactical brew for me too. I also thought the AR15 reached it's zenith of development a few years ago...until I bought a BUIS from Larue. Like a virus - it's all over my guns now! |

Actually, I should go count my hex wrenches and see how many Larue products I really have!

I can't wait, do action blocks require any modification to install the FF rails? I've seen a few other, and let me not forget to mention INFERIOR, handguards that required a little bit of grinding out for installation. |

I am so glad that I read this thread!
I received my first order from LaRue Tactical today. I was so impressed that I ordered a scope and mount combo on Monday and already received it today. I received such a great mount and saved so much money on the combo I was happy. Then I found the bottle opener and I thought that was pretty cool. After throwing out the box, I read this thread and said to myself-hey, where is the hat? I went out and dug out the box in the trash and sure enough--I missed the hat in the box! I cannot say enough about this company. On a side note, I bought the scope and mount after waiting for over 3 weeks from one of their competitors to ship my order. I canceled that order when I placed the order with LaRue. From now on, I will be going to LaRue first--always! |

I only have the SPR mount and a BUIS from Larue and they have completely sold me on his stuff. If they make a product that will work for my application I see no reason to buy anywhere else. Plus he takes care of us military guys also, even if we are Air Force.
Keep up the excellent work Mark and I will be ordering more in the future. |

OVERKILL GOOD!

That's a clean setup...our LT BUIS behind an Aimpoint mounted in an LT-150. Oh, and is your sig-line from "Caddy Shack". ML |

My beef with Larue is the hats are too damned small! I get a free one then have to hand it out
Serious note, I have yet to hand a piece of Larue kit to someone and not have them remark on it quality and design. The only bad part of that is it turns a couple of friends into overgrown 9 year olds who want to take them apart and see all the machining. |

I will have to say LaRue rocks. I have been in the addiction of the AR kind for about five years now and have learned you get what you pay for. I was picking up crap at the gun shows for my AR and it showed when I went to the range. I had a one inch mount on my flat top and the second shot recoiled off the mount. It feel to the side with my scope and scratched it up a bit. Boy was I pissed and embarrassed. Now I only buy LaRue and have had no problems. The LaRue staff are top notch and I pleasure to do business with. I look forward to doing business with LaRue in the future as my addiction grows!!!

I agree. Just got a M68 mount too and was pleasantly suprised too. Definately going to look at LaRue products more closely for future needs.

Is there a Larue retail store? Or just online? I live fairly close and I might need to plan a shopping trip soon.

Hmmm Ben, 28 posts since 2001, you're a man that keeps it brief. Back to your question, no store-front here, just a big-a$$ production machine shop. You can call in your order or run it in online. Anytime is good, except around 11:30 on Friday, that's when I put on the big feed for everybody. ML |

My LaRue story-
Last summer I was looking at my ARMS 22M68 mount. I just bumped it with my hand and it slid forward on my upper. Shocked I discovered that not only was my 22M68 mount moving, but so was my ARMS 22M rings on my SPR. Still in disbelief, I called ARMS and was told that it was normal and that it was considered a "soft-mount". Well, not wanting my Aimpoint or Super Sniper to move around, I looked elsewhere. I called LaRue and talked to Mike Early. He listened and ask questions. He was attentive and nice as hell. He hooked me up on some mounts and a rear sight. Even sent some awesome swag. Next friggin day, I didn't ask for overnight shipping, there is a box on the door step. Needless to say I was totally blown away. I can break an anvil and this stuff is even me proof. All of my mounts and rails will be LaRue from here on out. As for the swag...let just say that the bottle opener got a hell of a workout on the lake last summer! |

Well maybe it was the other way around, but I ain't complaining. Great product, great service. |

Wow.
Ordered my first LT-104 mount from Austin last Wednesday and had it Saturday morning. It's no joke that this is the best way to mount a scope on an AR. Worth every penny. And uh...I gave up the drinking business quite a while ago, but should I ever find myself in a desperate survival situation involving mass quantities of bottled liquids...well, I'm equipped! Actually, it reminds me of all the little boogers I used to see smashed on the roads around Fort Hood. Keep up the ingenuity, fellas. |

Just today I picked up my brand new Armalite 20" upper from my local shop that I had dropped off for a 13.2 ff rail and low profile gb. It looks great and feels absolutely strong. Been waiting for this before I would even test fire her. To the point, I just wanted to say how proud I am of the rail( my first LT product) and "Live free or Die" was icing on the cake. Great Stuff!
